Complaint UD: *** This is in response to the complaint letter we receivedFirst let me state that we went onsite to service an elderly gentleman for the clientWhen our tech was onsite the client decided to leave our tech alone with the elderly gentlemanThis person had no idea about his passwords, network settings or email account settingsThis in addition to the client leaving site to try and obtain this informationWe had already determined that our tech should not have waited quite so long before leaving site as the required info was not obtainableOur tech went so far as contacted the users email provider to confirm settingsIt was diagnosed that the site may be blocking ports needed to send the emailsThe site was not helpful to determine thisWe have already refunded the credit card $back on December *** even before the client logged this complaintLike I stated the tech should not have waited so long to stop working at the site and that was the reason for the creditPartial fault goes back to the elderly gentleman and the client for not having the required information available to usWe feel that the credit already given is sufficient deduction under the circumstanceThe end result is the client did not pay $but rather $after that creditFeel free to contact me if you have additional questions *** Best Regards, Bob W*** Techs In A Sec ###-###-#### *** *** ***

I feel that I fully explained the situation to the company when I asked him to go visit the elderly gentlemanThey seem to understand the problem, and seem to know how to resolve the situationIt seems to me that at the exorbitant charge of $an hour that after two hours they should have realized that it would have been less costly and easier to buy a new computer then to pay them to continue to dig the hole deeperIstand by my promise of that two hours is sufficient time to make a determination whether to continue or notTherefore, I believe that $would have been an equitable settlementI am not happy with a $that they charged, and feels that they still hold a $refundHis company seem to be in a position to take advantage of an elderly gentleman
