Please see attached response.--Dear Revdex.com Representative:Regarding ID 10745029: Included are pictures of the claimed damageThis clearly is not done by someone's kneeThis is caused by much more forceA closer look reveals the acute point in which the Strike actually happenedUnfortunately the
pictures do not show but is so low on the quarter panel that this would've been a physically impossibleI spoke with the customers son on the 28th of JulyHe was concerned after seeing damage but dismissed any possibility that this came from a knee or any other body partHe also agreed in determining where the origin of the hit in relation to the quarter panelI encouraged a walk-through of our newly installed equipment (Oct2014)Simple measurements would clear the wash of mechanical negligenceWe washed cars that day without incidentWe have washed well over cars since complaint was filed without incidentFurthermore any equipment touching the side of the vehicle extends the full heightHow would, for example, the side mirror not be affected? The equipment has long cores leaving it impossible to affect part of a lower section of a car and not the top sectionAlso, this damage is on the front driver sideThe equipment follows the entire vehicleWhy is there not damage the remainder of the vehicle? If in fact, there was equipment failure we would not have been able to continue washing cars.Regards,Chad R*** |General Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The car wash made no offer for resolution of my complaint. The response was that they were not at fault. I cannot with 100% certainty say what caused the damage, but I know it happened on their property. My car door will not open more than a foot, and it was fine when I pulled in. Their employees validated there was nothing wrong with the door when vacuuming. (It has nothing to do with hearing a crunching noise, the door will not swing open as it should.)
I don't understand why anyone would believe I made up this story and caused myself so much aggravation!! I can get the car repaired - but on principle the business that caused $1,000 damage to my car should take responsibility (and at the very least trust the people they employ.)
I want my $500 deductible reimbursed.

Regards,
[redacted]
