On 12/102019 I want to a web site that appeared to be HP.Com to set up my printer.
An agent at the site offered to walk me through the process.
Printer software installation for a HP8035 on 12/10/19. I was under the impression that I was dealing with HP. i123hpco-hp-officejet-pro-8035. The agent at the site offered to provide the installation remotely. After the process has begun I was told that I has corrupted files that had to be fixed.
The order no. is 3667. I was charged a total of $299.98 $99.99 for a standard fix and $199.99 for a permanent fix. I an a senior citizen who has difficulty hearing. I feel that I was mislead.

Desired Outcome

I'm looking for a full refund because i feel that I was mislead.. The business is offering $100.00..

Please be advised that the above referenced complaint has been fully resolved to my satisfaction.

I was deceived into paying for something I was told I needed to load a printer program on my computer. While they had access they loaded uneededjunk
on October 19. I tried to load a start up program for a new HP ENVY 5055 printer. When I tried to download the set up program, I was continually taken back to the page instructing me to download the start up program. I found site that looked official. The live chat person said he could solve the issue. After trying, he stated that I had corrupt files blocking the installation and only a "tech" would be able to get rid of the files. If it worked, there would be fee. While they had access to my computer they loaded programs and sites I did not want and had not asked for.
they took $99.99 from my account.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back and to get all the items they put on my machine taken off. I would also like this site to carry a warning

Our team tried reaching the customer through the phone once the complaint was raised. However, we were able to reach her only on November 1, 2019. The situation has been explained and the refund of $99.99 has been initiated as per customer request. It will be realized as per the banking norms. We assure the customer is happy as we have explained the complete procedure and initiated the refund. We have also offered the customer to contact us in future for any sort of assistance and the same was accepted by her.And we attaching refund confirmation file

THEY REFUNDED MY PAYMENT AND WERE VERY POLITE ABOUT DOING SO. It appears there may have been a misunderstanding.
