I was under the impression that tecton corporation would work with me on giving me copies of file and all vital information of rental agreements but my calls haven't been returned in regards to my request. I had been hung up on by receptionist before no call return as of yesterday. This is unfair and wrong.

ms. called *** regarding her account and at that time was informed she needed to speak to the collection agency who has her account. Once ms. was given this information she became upset and proceeded to accuse the assistant, Joanna S, of being rude and because of the alleged rudeness by mrs. S she claim she now has a migraine. mrs. S kept quiet while ms. proceeded to blame mrs. S of her medical issues then demanded to know mrs. S na*e, title as well as the name of the regional manager because she was going to file a complaint regarding the conversation. mrs. S stated to ms. that she would notify the main office of the call and that she, ms. was very upset. When mrs. S asked ms. if she could help her with anything else, ms. hung up on her.

I am rejecting this response because:
This Tecton and the employee are rude, disrespectful... there business practices are deceptive and I have been a victim of Tecton corporation dishonesty, unfair business practices, plus the false advertisement... I would like for this complaint to be reopened because...my full name is ***. ***. When I filed the complaint I was using the computer...so for some reason the complaint went somewhere else...but I feel reopening the complaint should be considered.

In response to your request, there will be no refund of the security deposit or application fee paid by you, ***, to the Willow Lake Apartments. For a copy of the records requested, please provide a current address so that we may mail the records to you. Please note, we do not have any records from the SeaTac Code Enforcement because there were no citations issued for roaches or ants in apartment H-*. The eviction and amount owed from the eviction will not be removed and any discussion regarding monies owed must be discussed with the Genesis Collection Agency who can be reached at #1-844-662-9001.

I wanted a letter of apology for moving me in a unit that pests and not being being able to fully enjoy the unit after maintenance flooded the apartment when replacing a dishwasher and leaving it on while he was gone. Unit H-was flooded... I never asked for a refund of the security deposit...but my mom was never refused 200$ she applied towards my rent... I was refunded $280.00. what happened to the money order that my mom sent towards my rent... for the amount of $200.00..that money order was cashed and my mom wasn't on the lease then... Unfair business practices happened to my mother and... I was a business owner when I applied for the apartment...and I experienced this untrustworthy business practices not only Willow lake staff then but now when Tecton corporation has failed to resolve this transaction between my business and there business... Willow lake apartments have been misleading the Revdex.com by statement in libel against me... withholding information from me when I try to work with them before I got the Revdex.com on board... Willow lake leasing agent gave me the keys to the unit after 5:pm Nov. 2nd...not doing a walk-through with me during business hours, giving me the keys to my unit at night... not placing me in to the unit that was for me, they cashed my $150.. take the apartment off of the market and stated I was denied without me knowing it. I contacted Catholic community services thbecause services to find out over 30 days that the Willow lake apartments had cashed my $150 denied me dwelling... there needs to be a further investigation done because money wasn't returned to my mom..and heddi S failed to report the pest and Willow failed to provide the extermination information to the Revdex.com...this means no thorough investigation was done by the Revdex.com... without review of evidence in regards to who flooded my apartment by installing a dishwasher without properly installing it November 19th 2014... The Revdex.com failed to investigate that issue...Willow must provide the full records of the hired grenadier to the Revdex.com if the Revdex.com wants to still stand as being a business who resolves issues between one business to consumer or business such as myself...when I sighed the lease with Willow lake apartments there was an addendum I had to sign because that unit or those units had a bed bug exposure before I move there, they did not have me sign addendums about the ants and roaches that are in that unit h-*..SeaTac code enforcement must be investigated because if Heidi S who was the investigator at the time failed to report her seeing the ants her seeing the roaches that I had to kill and leave her her to see there if she did not know that none of my furniture was in that apartment code enforcement when they arrived no furniture of mine was in there the Revdex.com has false advertising themselves to resolve when a business has false advertised their property or its community to be free of pests and rodents...if I can't trust the Revdex.com with help for a resolution...then Revdex.com must have a team who is negligent to investigate into situations such as the one that I have...in this case between tecton corporation/ Willow lake apartments... I will seek into a litigation process because the Revdex.com has shown in this case negligent acts..my mom ***. had never been refunded $200.00 in the money order that was dropped off to the Willow Lake Apartments in my behalf... Since I was refunded $280.00 in a money order then where did my mom's$200.00 money order go...it wasn't refunded to me or her for the month of December 2014... contact me with the right results... because false advertisement is illegal within 52 states.. I have been wronged by the Revdex.com too..in GOD we trust and I trust him on this one.

When my wife, my infant son, and I moved into our apartment, after some time we noticed the smell of smoke, and then noticed our living room filled with smoke. At first, we thought it was coming from the exhaust vent in the kitchen, but figured out it was coming from our fireplace. Even after ensuring the flume was closed, we still had smoke coming in. We called the front office to provide them notice. They spoke to the tenants below us, requesting they did not use their fireplace, and told us they would get cleaners out to clean the chimneys. Within a few days, the tenants below us began using their chimney, so we called again, and management spoke to them about having a fire. Finally the cleaners came, and that evening, the tenants below started a fire, and once again we had smoke. When I called management, they told maintenance to come by to check the flume. Maintenance informed us the flume looked functional. Management called me, and stated their cleaners had told them the reason is probably just an issue of wind. I personally called professionals who informed me the real issue is that the tops of the stacks are the same height, which allows the smoke to travel over to, and down another stack. I reported this back to management who simply said they were unsure what to do, and said to just ask the tenants below us to not have a fire if there is smoke.

The biggest issue with this is the health risk it poses to my infant son, but also I found myself have severe breathing issues, and almost had to go to the ER one night because it was difficult for me to breath, which I did mention to management. A result of all this is we informed management that we will likely end our lease early because of this issue, that it seems they have given up on. While they said they could not let us out of the lease, they would "work with us" on paying the early termination fee and any additional rent due.

maintenance personnel have stated the fireplaces are a known issue

Good Morning ***,

As discussed, I have compiled the communication between the office and *** in *** regarding smoke coming into his home from his neighbors fireplace.

*** first reported that he noticed smoke in his apartment on January 5th. We checked with the Resident below and they stated that the evening before they had accidentally left the flue closed when they started their fire, and the apartment quickly started to get smoky. They then opened the flue. We went into their apartment home to confirm they knew how to open and close their flue. We called *** after talking with his downstairs neighbor to explain what happened.

On January 30th you informed me that you had received an email from *** regarding the smoke in his home and advised me to call him and let him know we would work with him if he wanted to be let out of his lease. I called *** and told him his family's comfort and safety were important to us, that we had scheduled a chimney cleaning and inspection for February 13th and that we would be happy to work with him on letting him out of his lease as long as he gave notice and paid his last month's rent and that he could work out a payment plan with us. He thanked me for that and said he also couldn't afford the apartment anymore but couldn't move into the other place available to him for a month or two.

On Monday, February 5th, their was a voicemail left from *** from Saturday February 3rd at 9pm. He reported that smoke was in his apartment again. There had been high winds over the weekend and the chimney company had suggested this was most a back draft from the other unit and had also told us the chimney's were not connected. I called the downstairs neighbor and asked them to please not use their chimney on windy days so that it would not cause a back draft in their upstairs neighbors home. They agreed. I called *** and let him know what was happening and that I had asked the neighbors not to use their fireplace on windy days.

On February 13th, we had our chimney's cleaned.

On February 15th, we checked in with *** and he stated he still was smelling chimney smoke in his home. Ian went into their home and found the flue was slightly open, and he closed it fully. We did a follow up on this service request and *** said it had gotten better, but they (the Resident) also had blocked the fireplace off completely.

We haven't heard from *** since following up with him on this service request.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. As I had stated in my complaint, they had said they would work with me, though their response provides a little more clarity for me as far as what they would be willing to do.
