Re: HVAC return air ductwork install, [redacted] , [redacted] ***, ID [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, As per the complaint from the above listed client, we went to his property and installed a second return air grill and ductwork to help eliminate a loud air noise he was complaining aboutAfter talking with the client, he decided that he wanted to move forward and have the additional ductwork installedWe installed the ductwork which eliminated the noise by percent as we told him it wouldThe customer paid us over the phone with his credit card, upon completion of the jobAfter the credit card had been processed, the client tried to dispute the charge with the credit card company, stating that what we did was not a solution to his problemThe work performed was installed correctly and did what we said it would doThe client stated that another company came out to his residence and slowed down the fan speed to eliminate the noiseSlowing down the fan speed when temperatures are at their peak or lowest will cause the system to work inefficiently and not produce enough heating or cooling to adequately maintain temperatureThis is why we did not offer that solutionThe customer has not paid the bill and the credit card company is working on settling with our credit card processorWe have not received any money for this service

about. After talking with the client, he decided that he wanted to move forward and have the additional ductwork installed. We installed the ductwork which eliminated the noise by 50 percent as we told him it would. The customer paid us over the phone with his credit card, upon completion of the job. After the credit card had been processed, the client tried to dispute the charge with the credit card company, stating that what we did was not a solution to his problem. The work performed was installed correctly and did what we said it would do. The client stated that another company came out to his residence and slowed down the fan speed to eliminate the noise. Slowing down the fan speed when temperatures are at their peak or lowest will cause the system to work inefficiently and not produce enough heating or cooling to adequately maintain temperature. This is why we did not offer that solution. The customer has not paid the bill and the credit card company is working on settling with our credit card processor. We have not received any money for this service.
