I am rejecting this response because:it,s not true. the fact is he never came back in the time frame he promised. I left phone messages, text him and even sent a certified letter twice, 7/31/17 and 8/15/17 trying to find out when he would be back to finish the job. I got no response and the letter was returned. When he finally did show up with his wife, I confronted him as to why he never got in touch with me. With a smirk on his face he said"I was busy". That's when I noticed the so called new lien closet doors were finished awful. Also noticed that he used the wrong hinges. I grabbed the bag with right hinges and tossed it at his feet. I asked him why he didn't use the right hinges. he just turned and smirked at me again. That's when I raised my voice and told him that this no way to run business. He never told me face to face that he had quit the job. I found that out when I text him to find out if he was coming back after lunch to finish up. He text me back and said he was done. The cabinet doors and all the paint touch up that he never finish, had to be redone by another contractor. I have the paid bills to prove it.I would never recommend this contractor to anyone. Mr. Alvillar has no communication skills and does not keep his word.
September 15, 2017I am writng to you to respond on complaint of Mr. [redacted]. The Hall Cabinet doors were removed to my shop to be painted. We could not paint due to very bad paint jobs in years past with oil based paint. then, we had to make the new doors to match old doors.He received new doors...
painted to matched existing (plywood paint grade). Mr. [redacted] was mad because it took longer time than he thought it should take. He proceeded to grab a bag of hinges and throw them at me and my wife. Also, he stood yelling at me in front of my her. For this reason, I told him that we are done working for you! I told my wife to help me finish installing Cabinet doors and finish paint touch-up, so we can complete the work that we started that day.I have been in business since 2003, and I have never had any problems with customers. I would not recommend any other contractors to work for him, I think his inappropriate attitude was over the top. I really felt like he threatened me and my wife. Nobody should work for people like him.
