Dear [redacted] ,Per our conversation last Friday October 21,Here are the details for the customer [redacted] for his Mercury car cougar [redacted] bring his car last March 6, to my shop complaint : blown head gasket with white smoke on tail pipeWhen I checked on his car found out water pump is damaged, EGR pipe is crackedI give him an estimate amount on how much he will spent for his car for the amount of $2,and I asked for down payment for the amount of $1,to buy partial parts for his car,but labor is not included in the down paymentWhen I was doing his car found out that instead of water pump he needs,he need water pump assembly parts include lower radiator hose and three by pass hose so it will need additional charged on it ! informed this to him that the revised estimate now is $which I let him to have initial his name on work order da [redacted] March 13,20153:pmEGR pipe parts become the main problem because the auto parts and dealer parts said the EGR pipe is discontinued alreadyI told the customer about this on March when he was in the shopTried to look in the junkyard every Sunday for five times and had no luckCalled the customer March at 9:am and March at 10:am and March at 10:22am, but no response from the customerCustomer stop by in the shop on the month of April and June informed him that junkyard have no parts stillFinally and luckily after going back and forth in junkyard I found the EGR pipe that I need for his part on September 06, Customer car was running already by September 17, Customer came in the shop by September at 4:PM showed to him the car is running already and I recommended to him that he needs to change the high pressure hose power steering, but he refused to have it fixedWhen asked for the total payment I showed him the work order with the balance of $1,370.63, but he refused to pay the balance telling me that the $1,that he gave me is for everything already for parts and labor.the revised authorized estimate amount $2,370.63, which means that I explained it to him and he has knowledge for the price that he will pay afterward.Thank you for calling me regarding this matter since I did not received anything from the mailAnd please advise me if I did or failed something about his complaint.Respectfully yours, [redacted] S [redacted] Owner October 25,
