Tee Pee Auto Wrecking

Review: On June 11th we had the unfortunate experience of choosing Tee Pee Auto Wrecking to look for a part on a classic car. The initial impression of the business seemed similar to other wrecking yards with one exception. There was preferential treatment to customers allowed to drive vehicles onto the lot. This presented a problem, as we were forced to carry our tools into the huge unkept yard. The grass was waist high, and there were scrap metal pieces that could not be seen. We made a decision to store the 80 lb tool box on the front seat of a car, closed the door, and made our way a VERY short distance. Within 20 minutes the business employee had placed a car right up against the vehicle with our tools inside. When we returned, the tools were gone. During this time there were not many people present in the salvage yard, and there was nobody in our vicinity. We inquired about the changed landscape, and the employee claimed no knowledge of the tool box although he had watched us walk in with it. Sheriff notified, exit video examined which showed nobody leaving with the tools. The tools are still in the yard and we would like them returned or to be reimbursedDesired Settlement: $1000.00 for lost tools and case
