Teen Challenge Super Thrift Store

I am writing in response to a letter received on 08/22/regarding complaint # [redacted] I spoke with [redacted] (complainant) personally about the purchase at the time of checkout and explained to him that because we have customers who come in and don't want to purchase sets of salt and pepper shakers, but only want one or the other we do price them individually The customer has the option of purchasing each piece for 99¢ or the set for $ Mr [redacted] was aware of this before making the purchase and could have at any point opted out of the purchase Instead, he paid for the items and waited until he returned home to call to complain about it At that time I offered to give him a store credit OR refund him the purchase amount if he returned the items Nothing I did seemed to satisfy him, and he even went so far as to post slanderous remarks on our Facebook page about the store from his Facebook account, and had his brother do the same Mr [redacted] also wrote a complaint letter to the Teen Challenge Regional Director and has since spoke with the Tallahassee Director, [redacted] who has arranged for Mr [redacted] to come into the store to get a full refund for the merchandise on September 3rd when he returns the items he purchased

I am truly sorry that Mr*** feels that Teen Challenge Super Thrift should not be allowed to continue doing business. All proceeds from the store are used to fund a ministry that provides a safe place and the tools for men, women and children to overcome life controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addiction. Mr*** has rejected all attempts that we have made to attempt to rectify his complaint. Our final offer to him will be to send him a cashier's check in the amount of $15.00, which is more than the amount of his purchase and he can keep the items. We would also request that Mr*** not patronize Teen Challenge Super Thrift in the future
