A total scamThey called my office and said they could lower my total monthly bill to $72/month including taxes, fees, etcWhen I got my first bill it was almost double thatWhen I called to complain they were rude and said I loud lose my phone number(s) which I have had for years if I switched back to AT&T ( which is also a lieThis is a "bait and switch" companyDo NOT do business with them!!!!

They called my company, spoke to a worker promising them ratesGot him to say that he was interested on the phone (recorded) and used that to switch my account over from CenturylinkThey sent invoices and harassing phone calls even though the owner did not agree to their service, nor signed up for anything

DO NOT even talk to these peopleTHEY ARE A SCAM!!! They will lie and tell you that they are just taking over your billing and then OVERCHARGE you for serivces you never requestedIf you complain to them they don't care

Telplex saved me a ton of money each month, I still only get bill each month from [redacted] its just at a reduced rate!

FLAT-OUT LIED TO ME ABOUT WHO THEY WERE AND WHAT THEY DID
I received a phone call from a representative that said that she was calling from Telplex on behalf of Century LinkSince I'd seen a similar scam before, I asked her whether she was actually an employee of Century LinkShe assured me that she was
She told me of the benefit I'd receive by getting rid of my unlimited long distance and, instead, paying cents a minuteNext, since she was new, her supervisor also spoke with meThen she said that I needed to go through a third party verification service, to document that I had agreed to the service changeShe directed me to say "yes" to questions that I would have said "no" to(that I'm agreeing to use Telplex, for instance, despite her assuring me that she worked for Century Link.)
I don't know whether the "independent verification service" is a related scam, but I do know that when someone wholly misrepresents who they are and what they're doing (even when asked directly) there is a serious ethical issue with the businessIt's obvious that they convince potential customers to go through the verification process, so that they can use that as their excuse not to respond to customer complaints

The Sales person called and was completely rude and sarcastic because I would not give her private informationI have never been talked to in that tone by somebody wanting my businessThey ask vague questions in order to get your information and take over your AT&T accountI agree this is very much a scam or way too close to oneWalk away confidently

Be VERY cautious when talking to this companyA woman named Penny called my office and said she was with *** calling on behalf on Telplex CommunicationsMy first question was "You work for *** She replied "yes" but, I am calling on behalf of TeleplexShe claimed that Teleplex was taking over long distance services from *** I asked her if we had to switch carriers and she said the changes are taking place regardless if customer wants to switch She said she was only calling to verify our informationI knew that did not sound legitimate so I called *** directly and they said that was DEFINETLY not true and I should be very cautious when talking to this companyI cannot say this is a scam but, Penny straight out lied about who she was and who she worked forI did a lot of research on this company since talking with them and seems to be a common issue with themPlease do your research before agreeing to any services with them

When I called to complain they were rude and said I loud lose my phone number(s) which I have had for 36 years if I switched back to AT&T ( which is also a lie. This is a "bait and switch" company. Do NOT do business with them!!!!

They sent invoices and harassing phone calls even though the owner did not agree to their service, nor signed up for anything.

These people called and told our receptionist that they had taken over from [redacted] . And that [redacted] had been sued. They said our lines were being transferred to them. When I got the bill it was double what [redacted] charged and, I received a bill from [redacted] saying we cancelled their contract which I had never done. When I called to talk to them and told them they were on a recorded line they refused to continue the conversation. I am filing a complaint with the government and taking them to small claims.
