Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint Telecheck's response that their analytic's platform is designed to protect merchant's from check fraud is patently false The merchant's agreement with Telecheck specifically states that merchants using their service are shielded from check return liability by using the service The only entity protected as a result of my fraudulently declined transaction is Telecheck Again, and in their own words, Telecheck used economic data, instead of my own transactional history, as a rationale for declining the transaction Even after I spoke to an attendant at Telecheck and provided my personal information as well as my bank information they refused to authorize the transaction Telecheck has tools at its disposal (Cashedge) to verify any bank account at participating institutions, of which my institution is one, and they refused to use it As a result of their poor procedure and repeated intransigence, I was embarrassed at a merchant we regularly patronize.I will make it a point to tell merchants that display the Telecheck logo that their customers who choose to pay with a check must obtain pre-clearance from Telecheck, or risk that their transaction will be declined And that their customer's payment can be refused based on demographics instead of their own banking activity, creating unnecessary and unjustified embarrassment to their patrons Kind regards, Timothy ***timothy.***@gmail.com

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, Basically telecheck has done nothing except repeat the same reasons for not accepting the check You cannot build history when they refuse checks I was told merging another account information would take care of that history problem It did not Apparently it now does not allow checks on the account I have used for years and not had a problem with They addressed none of the issues and said they need to update information I contend when you call times to verify things over and over in a week that is ridiculous They need to put a limit on how often an account has to be updated Change the computer system because it is not working Basically I got no where with them and they just quoted back the information that I provided to them in the complaint and in the summary They refuse to do anything about the situation Telecheck talked about things getting tougher for businesses That should not mean telecheck makes things tougher for people who have not written and bad checks and have not had a problem with them before This is not an acceptable solution They refuse me my rights to access my checking account and not for a day but for or depending on who you talk to They should not make it difficult for people to write good checks for NO reason I have always had lots of activity on the one account I had merchants tell me many people are having problems with telecheck doing the same things to other customers I would like my complaint posted to let people know that Telecheck does not care and refuses to work with you to correct any problems Their response indicated they will continue to reject my checks for no reason Perhaps if people see this they will complain and telecheck will lose business form merchants and be forced to change their policy of rejection for NO good reason The whole thing is arbitrary and designed to hurt good, honest people

Sent: Friday, April 24, 2:PM To: drteam Cc: [redacted] Subject: REQUEST FOR ADMINISTRATIVE CLOSURE FOR [redacted] COMPLAINT# [redacted] Good Afternoon, Please see the actions that TeleCheck has taken in order to resolve this complaint: • TeleCheck uploaded a response to Ms***’s complaint to the Revdex.com portal on April 3rd, 2015, regarding her new account inquiry dated March 20, for Ms***’s reviewThis response referenced our discussion on March 27, 2015, and a request was made for the Electronic Check Transaction Signed Receipt and a confirmation of her file status once the investigation is complete More importantly, I attempted on March 27, to call First United Bank at different phone numbers and conferenced Ms [redacted] all times at the following phone numbers, the first: [redacted] referred me to [redacted] which in turn referred me to [redacted] , and was advised with Ms [redacted] on the phone that the bank would not release any information over the phone and she would have to come in and request research on the matter • TeleCheck sent a response to Ms***’s complaint regarding her new account inquiry dated March 27, which was uploaded into the Revdex.com portal for Ms***’s review on April 3rd, This response was in reference to her rejection of the above initial response regarding her denial of her new account inquiry on March 27, 2015, and her indication that I did not place her file status at dispute • TeleCheck sent a response to Ms***’s complaint regarding her rejection which was uploaded into the Revdex.com portal for Ms***’s review April 13th, • TeleCheck sent a response to Ms***’s complaint regarding her rejection which was uploaded into the Revdex.com portal for Ms***’s review April 16th, Once the last response from TeleCheck was rejected on April 21, 2015, and the consumer refused to contact the financial institution with the additional information provided in the response dated April 21, 2015, I took the liberty of calling [redacted] at [redacted] on April 23, 2015, and spoke Ms [redacted] in the ACH Department I provided Ms [redacted] with the Returned Trace ID Number, check number, account number, and date of Electronic Check Transaction Ms [redacted] indicated she would reach out to Ms [redacted] and explain her findings regarding the returned check Ms [redacted] is alleging TeleCheck is attempting to extort money for Ms [redacted] called me back and confirmed she was able to contact Ms [redacted] on April 23, 2015, and indicated Ms [redacted] did not advise her what she was going to do about the findings Ms [redacted] advised her of Thank you, [redacted]
