Telelink Communication

Review: We purchased a phone system and music on hold through Telelink in March of 2013. Our music on hold has not worked since day 1. We have called them numerous times, finally they asked us to send in music on hold device for testing. They sent it back and said there is nothing wrong with it. We called and asked for an appointment and they stated there would be a service charge fee. I stated that the product has not worked since day 1 and we're trying to get it taken care of and since it's never worked shouldn't they take care of it?? When I stated we were not paying them for services that should have been taken care of they said they would drop by sometime at their convenience. I stated that wasn't acceptable, it could be a month or more. The man I was speaking with hung up...(his name was [redacted]) there was a man giving him verbal instructions of what to say in the background.Desired Settlement: Have them come FIX music on hold and show better customer service!!!

Response:

On January/2014, customer called and said that the music on hold did not work (10 month after the original install). We informed the customer that the contract warranty doesn’t cover electrical caused problems. A common problem with music on hold .....is if a power outage occurs the repeat function needs to be reset. This appears to have occurred, and needs to be reset. We informed the client that we can help them over the phone or create a work order with the understanding that they will be billed if the problem is power related. The next thing we received is a complaint from Revdex.com.
