We understand Mr*** frustration, it is never a good time to have an accident especially if its not your faultMr*** came to AutoRight Collision Repair on Friday, 3/30/with the rear of his car smashed and the trunk was not operationalHe stated to our team that he "pulled it from
another shop that wasn't working fast enough"Mr*** vehicle was reviewed by our staff and with Mr*** and it was determined that his vehicle was not safe to operate so we recommended he get into a rental vehicle for his own safetyAfter a tear down and the estimate was written, Mr*** was informed by email on Tuesday, 4/4/that his estimated repair time was 1/weeks once the parts arriveThe length of time conveyed to Mr*** to repair the vehicle is an estimated timeMr*** decided that was acceptable and authorized the repaired with AutoRight Collision Repair on Tuesday, 4/4/at 10:45am and the parts were promptly orderedIn the original email on Tuesday, 4/4/2017, Mr*** stated he only had a rental car until Friday, 4/14/2017, giving us days to complete 1/weeks worth of work once that parts arrived, completely unrealistic! The parts for his vehicle arrived on Monday, 4/10/2017, working days after the vehicle was left with us, and we promptly started his repair on Monday, 4/10/1/weeks of estimated repair time puts a completion date of 5/3/Again, the repair length was discussed with Mr*** in the original email on 4/4/We have done everything possible to expedite the repairs, but it takes time to repair a vehicle with the amount of damage Mr*** had on his vehicleWe understand Mr*** desire to be in his vehicle due to his lack of rental car insurance, unfortunately that is out of our controlWe always suggest people include rental coverage on their insurance policy for just such an eventWe have done everything possible, including phone messages and e-mails on 4/10, 4/11, 4/12, & 4/17, to keep Mr*** informed throughout the repair process and we are well in front of the original estimated completion dateDuring the reassembly process we discovered we needed additional parts and informed Mr*** of this issue"Snags do happen" during the repair processOur revised completion date is 4/26/due to additional parts needed to make his vehicle safe and the repairs completeWe have done everything in our power to speed the processOur revised completion date is days ahead of our original estimated completion dateMr*** was informed of the delay and has decided that is unacceptable and decided to take this action by contacting the Revdex.com
