We are in the process of building a small house in Cornville, ME We are not there during the week, we do not run heat during the week (only the pellet stove on weekends while we do work int he house), there are no lights hooked up yet and we only use the power tools on part of Friday, Saturday and Sunday How can our bill be almost $100.00?!?!?! We are using less power now than when the excavating was going on in the summer and our bill was lower then I live in MA and heat with electric, bedroom apartment and my bills aren't this bad It has to be calculating something wrong in the background, $per month to not even be living there yetI feel for those who are on a fixed incomepeople are going to freeze, go without meds or food to pay this outrageous fee!

Com billed me for 481$ and change they just sent me a new bill for 603.19$ instead of trying to figure out how their new system failed them and mePlease help and attack them for their war against us here in MaineYou are supposed to be the protection for the consumers please step up and do somethingThere is about people in Maine being over charged because of this company!

Cmp(central Maine power) is charging me 483.00$ and saying I have not made a payment with them since April I sent a check for June's power bill they accepted it but say I owe a lot of money for a bill I don't think I owe forPlus they sent it into collections before ever notifying me about it which can only hurt my credit score even more than it already has

With a changeover to a new billing software in October 2017, I started seeing monthly (paid) bills from more than a year back pop up in my dashboard of UNpaid bills, only to quickly disappear a day or two laterWe run a strict household where power is used conservatively, and our bills are now astronomically higher than in Winters past Now seeing that I am far from the only one in this situation, CMP continues to insist via their spokesperson that it could be a faulty appliance or other item at fault within the home I'm barely able to pay the new fees their charging, and I know others with families are now paying far more than I am, and far less able to afford it I will be aggressively seeking a refund when the news does come out that their software was in error

CMP has not followed through with several issues I have contacted them about and because of this my bill is over $1,000, which I cannot afford to pay The first issue is that they changed our account number so that when HEAP reviewed our account with them for assistance, they informed us the account was at a $balance I then contacted CMP and HEAP and explained what had happened and provided HEAP with the new account number given by CMP They assured me that the financial assistance would be sent to CMP very soonHowever, there is still no payment shown on my CMP bill The other issue is that CMP claimed that I owed money for an old account (over three years old) that I had actually paid in fullThe woman on the phone told me that she had to add the amount to my bill but to send in the proof of payment and they would remove the amount from my bill if I could find the proof I found the proof of payment and sent it in by fax, e-mail, and regular mail and have followed up with t

I experienced issues with power for and extended period of time that consisted dips and surges in power to the residence I reside atI called CMP and asked them to come investigateThey came and found no concernsThey put in an order to have a device attached to the house that would read the power supply over several daysI am an electrician so I proceeded to do some testing internally to the home to confirm in was not internal to the house systemI found no problemsThe problems persisted and continued to become more often It burned up a surge protector for the TV/ circuitI called again and they again came to inspect with no solutions found and confirmed a power logger had never been installedI burned up another surge protector and outdoor flood light and started tripping breakersI called CMP and had them pull the meter so that a licensed master electrician,a second electrician,and myself could inspect the entire system internal to the houseNo problems where foundWh

I had to call CMP and request their help with a certain issueThe first two people that I talked to refused to even try to help and dismissed me immediatelyThe third one ( [redacted] ) took the time to listen, checked with her supervisor and was able to help meShe was courteous and helpful.........................her great attitude and customer service was greatly appreciated:)

Cmp has increased my bill for the last months They say I have usage almost 50% more than what I did last year and I know that is incorrect my bill has never been over in the summer's for one mo th now it's almost I have tried to dispute my billing with them but they either hang up on you and wait over an hour to speak to someone I want my bill to by adjusted because I know its incorrect

6/14/I contacted CMP and the new building committee as far as relocating a pole in my driveway, and changing the service location 6/29/the new building planner [redacted] came to take a look at the operation(relocation of power entrance)It was decided that I needed three things to happen, number one I needed a new pole installed that CMP would hook too.2) I need all the power from that pole run underground to my house and garage3)Then I need the existing Pole which is CMP to removed from my yardThe other pole is not CMP is but it needs to be disconnected before it can be moved(by me legally)I was given a bill, for dollars, that had to be paid in person or by mail to the Fairfield office, which is over an hour away 7/15/went to the Fairfield office and paid the bill While in the fairfeild office on the 15th, I spoke with [redacted] over the phone who said it was okay that I should remove the telephone pole from my front yard(Also that they would remove the co
