Temecula Lanes

While my family, friends and I were bowling at Temecula Lanes, in Temecula CaliforniaWe were having a great time until the end of the night when we decided to use the "Kiddie Ramp" and the employee that waxes the floor came up to us and told us to FK OFFTHIS WAS SAID IN FRONT OF OUR FAMILYAnd our kidsWe told the manager what happened and NOTHING was done
This is totally unacceptable we WILL NOT be coming here again and something needs to be done

                                        ...⇄ February 24, 2017   To whom it may concern: Everyone here at Temecula Lanes strives to offer the best bowling experience in town. Our number one (1) goal is “Great Customer Service.” Occasionally we have guests that do things that jeopardize their safety or may damage equipment. Examples would be someone walking on a lane or misuse equipment. To limit those situations we have signs and stickers posted alerting guests of these actions that can cause issues with them having a fun experience with us at the center. We also do announcements when equipment is being misused along with a personal interaction to ensure the guest(s) understand the proper use of our equipment.  The issue at hand involved a group of bowlers on Saturday night February 11th 2017. During their bowling the group proceeded to obtain a bowling ramp. These ramps are metal and are used by children or adults who are unable to roll the ball down the lane themselves. The ramp when used correctly is moved to the front of the lane and a bowling ball is placed on top. Then the ball is pushed by the child or adult and it rolls down the ramp and onto the lane. Its purpose is to give the bowling ball that the child or adult is using enough momentum to roll the entire distance of the lanes to the pins. After the group obtained the ramp they were then observed by an employee holding the ramp in the air off the ground (not on the lane and not how the ramp was intended to be used) and proceeded to throw bowling balls on it. When this action was observed by the employee, he went to the group and retrieved the ramp. As the employee was retrieving the ramp the employee explained to the guests that the ramp was used for children and they could damage the ramp along with other parts of the lane. From the employees statements when the ramp was removed from the group’s lane that’s when the group became aggressive and started yelling at the employee and cursing. During this time a 2nd employee walked to the bowling area and observed a few of the bowlers in the group roll 3-4 bowling balls at the same time down a lane and hit a guard that protects the machinery in the back as they continued to yell profanity at the employee. The action of rolling multiple bowling balls down a lane hitting the guard is not allowed and announcements are made to prevent this action from occurring which could result in damage to equipment.   At that time the employee told the group that “if they continue to roll bowling balls down the lane and hit the guard it would be considered vandalism and they need to leave.” From the employee statements the group then walked to the front desk where they threw their shoes on the counter and started exiting the center. The 2nd employee stated that as they were leaving they were telling the 1st employee to “come outside old man.” The employee after being threatened kept away from the group while they left. There was also a yelp review from another guest that was bowling at that same time next to the group in question which corroborated the statements made by the employees. Because of this blatant disregard for property and the hostile behavior of the group we felt it unnecessary to contact the group or respond to their exaggerated claims posted on yelp. A copy of the yelp review will accompany this response for added evidence.
