We provide FREE consultations for new equipment estimates onlyAs the customer admits, an appointment was set up through our office for a service callThe customer is always correct, perhaps we did not make it clear that there would be a charge for our services, no matter if next door or miles awayOur technician did go out, did locate the "leak" at the PVC pipe and corrected it by tightening it up and letting the owner know they should purchase new filtersI apologize that we did not follow up with info about the filtersThe customer indicates they called and set an appointment, we did go out as we promised, we did have the tech diagnose and correct the issue with the leakPlease let the customer know that we will credit their account so there is NO AMOUNT DUEI thank them for allowing us to use this as an example to teach our staff they must indicate to our customers that if we are asked to come to provide a service that there will be a charge, as we just are not in the position to provide such services free of charge, due to the overhead, gas, etcI hope this resolves any concerns.Thank you for your business
