Poor Quality
While temptations bakeware is pretty, it's terrible quality. when used in an oven, it cracks, handles break, etc. I would never recommend this bakeware to anyone, even though I was dumb enough to purchase many, many pieces! They are now all breaking, even the plastic covers are cracking and breaking off. Save your money and buy better made oven and cookware.

Unfortunately we don't always have the exact item and/or color for warranty replacementAs with this replacement, the product was ~ 2-years old, and although we have the piece, we don't have it in the same color.Since we didn't have this piece in the color requested, we'll refund the $S & H and the Customer can keep the item

Poor quality! Company charges for shipping even if broken during shipping! Breakage often occurs with firstbuse! Save your money!

Our warranty policy is attached as states that Shipping & Handling charges are not covered under this warranty. The product will be replaced at not cost, but the customer has to pay for the S & H which is $9.95, not $20.00 as alleged in the complaint. We record all our incoming Customer...

Service calls. We reviewed this call and at no time was our Customer Service Mgr. rude or disrespectful. We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and have won awards from [redacted] regarding our CS. We will be happy to replace the 13x9 Baker at no cost, but this Customer will need to pay the $9.95 S&H, the same as all the other Customers.

A copy of Temp-Tations Warranty Insert is attached. This Warranty Insert is included in the box with every product. The last sentence in the second paragraph states "This warranty doe not cover shipping and handling costs".[redacted].com also includes a pdf file of this insert on every Temp-Tations product...

page. The warranty is also included on Temp-tations own web site.

Revdex.com:I was called today and offered the free piece. When I asked if she was responding to my Revdex.com complaint, she danced around the subject like my info was just dropped on her with no other information.   I work in the same field doing corporate escalations for [redacted] and respond to complaints as well.   Your employees should be forthright and honest.   I would be More than happy to provide the dates and times and call logs from my work and/or cell number about this issue.  I have no way to tell you how many times I submitted the contact us form online with no response.   Your customer service reps are to say the least lacking in customer service and following through with what they say will be done.  I am still waiting for the president of the company to call me back as the supervisor had told me what happened.  I contacted the Revdex.com as a last ditch effort to get the company to respond.  I know ALOT of other people with the same issues.  If this continues the company won't be in business much longer.  It is sad that no one has a work ethic.  And to say I never called means your system is Flawed to say the very least. I accepted the offer which is all I ever asked for and we will see if it is delivered in one piece.  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

In response to the
attached complaint:Thank you for
the opportunity to address this issue. Temp-tations
products are made from natural stoneware, a durable and versatile material that
is ideal for baking, serving and storing in the refrigerator or freezer.
However, because stoneware...

is a porous material that does have limitations,
temp-tations provides customers with recommended Use & Care guidelines,
which should be followed to ensure a long life for temp-tations products. A printed
version of these use and care guidelines are included with every temp-tations
shipment, and additional Use & Care guidelines are also readily available
online in the FAQ section of the temp-tations website.See below for
Use & Care guidelines that relate to potential causes of cracking. When hand
washing, is it ok to soak temp-tations® in water? It’s ok to
fill your temp-tations® with water and let it soak, but do not fully
submerge your temp-tations® in a sink full of water. Stoneware
absorbs water in places where there’s no glaze (for example, on the bottom,
where it sits in the kiln). When the stoneware is then put in the oven,
microwave, or freezer, the absorbed water will expand and can cause stress to
the stoneware. Please note that temp-tations® stoneware is
dishwasher safe.Is it safe to
go from the freezer directly to the oven with temp-tations®?Yes, all
temp-tations® bakers can go from the freezer directly to the oven.
However, when doing so, allow your temp-tations® baker and your oven
to heat up together. (Put the stoneware in an unheated oven, turn on the oven,
and allow both to come to desired cooking temperature simultaneously.)Is it ok to
pre-heat temp-tations® in the oven or microwave when the dish is
empty?No, do not
pre-heat your temp-tations® bakers in the oven or microwave when
empty, as this may cause stress to the stoneware.Source: http://www.temp-tations.com/faqsTo address
defects in materials or workmanship, all temp-tations are covered by a limited
three-year warranty that provides customers replacement pieces free of charge.
The full text of the warranty can be found here. However, as stated in the policy, S&H is not covered under the
terms of the warranty. In some cases,
temp-tations does require customers to return defective pieces, at our cost, in
order to understand and address any manufacturing defects. If this customer has
any current pieces that are defective, please call temp-tations Customer
Service at [redacted] to return the items for evaluation.Temp-tations
will send a replacement piece to this customer, free of charge. But, as stated
in the warranty policy, S&H will be the responsibility of the customer. Please
advise if you need any further information to resolve this issue.Karen V

Review: I bought temp-tations 16 piece oven set floral lace dark blue ( [redacted] ) . I received it yesterday. One of the pieces broken they wish to charge me again for delivery on broken part. I already paid when I bought this product. I want the broken piece replaced 2.5 oven pan stoneware. As it came that way they are responsible for there product nor did they when selling product say anything about recharging shipping and handling on the tv. Complete satisfaction guaranteed was what was said on the tv. Just after they sent product in the box. This is false advertising and nasty business. I hope never to do business again. The other piece they sent is wrong style. (h200788) it is utensil old world blue not floral lace dark blue. I hope you can help me. Please this is a rip off company in my opinion. One day owner of this product. Will not do business again with them. Thank you for your time

[redacted] desired settlement: replacement of broken piece no charge. Send correct utensil holder color floral lace dark blue. No charge. Make them keep warranty as on tv. Complete satisfaction guaranteed was what was said on the tv.

Review: Purchased Temp-tations pie dish as part of a twin set for $24 on 2/**/2013 through [redacted]. Used maybe 2-3 times for baking pies over the 2 year period. Baked a pie from scratch this weekend abiding by the Temp-tations User Guide and the glaze on the dish crazed -- leaving grey lines over the entire seat of the dish and ruining the pattern and the finish. Contacted Temp-tations customer service reps twice and a "manager" once. They stand behind policy of $9.99 charge for shipping a replacement (I paid $12 for the pie dish and could replace it myself for just $3 more than they want to ship a replacement to me. They stand behind their policy but do not stand behind the sales pitch they use when selling the product. The whole pitch is about the lovely pattern and the great way the dishes perform when baking. If you bake a couple of pies according to their guidelines and the pattern and finish is ruined with grey lines all through it then the sales pitch is a lie. Refusing to make the customer whole by replacing a defectively produced piece at no cost is dishonest. Since the glaze is crazed and cracked the dish is unsafe to use for food of any kind.Desired Settlement: Replacement of the pie dish at no cost to me.
