Our standard delivery time is 4-business days after shipment We state this on our website and during every phone order Ms [redacted] ordered on Aug and we quoted 4-business days for delivery - that would make the latest date that she'd receive her completed order Sept Although she received the majority of her products in less time than she expected, one item was missing She called and wanted it expedited Because we knew that she'd receive the item within the timeframe we originally quoted, we chose not to honor that request Had she indicated that she wanted to cancel to buy locally, we would have done so and refunded her payment We at Gardener's are sorry for any confusion about delivery dates we may have caused, and understand if Ms [redacted] chooses not to order from us again[redacted] Contact Center Director

We at Gardener's are truly sorry that the customer received products she was not expecting. Because our entry system automatically tracks all manual changes made to an order, we can see that no person added products to the customer's order. However, we are working with our
website team to investigate the possibility that something went wrong technically behind the scenes. This may take a few business days but we will follow up with the customer as soon as we have more information. *** ***

After reviewing the customer complaint, a Gardener's supervisor called on March and left a voice mail apologizing and offering assistance on any order the customer might choose to make

I believe, but could be wrong, that the voice mail that was left for the customer on March 9 encouraged her to call us;  any of us can help.
