Tempe St. Luke's Hospital Reviews (12)

I have spoken to the Anesthesia Provider and they have stated that they are in constant communcation with this patient. They also stated that the patient and their company have filed appeals with the patient's insurance company and are waiting to hear back. They have also notified me that they have told this patient that she will not be billed the out of network rate. Unfortunately not all insurance companies accept all Providers; that is why we have an agreement that none of our patients will be billed out of network rates. This patient can contact me a the hospital at ###-###-#### if she wishes to discuss her concerns. I have also asked that someone from the Anesthesia Group calls her again today.

Ms. [redacted]'s concern about her anesthesia bill has been sent to the Anesthesia Group. They feel that the amount is in error and will be reaching out to Ms. [redacted], if they haven't already. If she has further concerns/questions, she may contact me at ###-###-####

the person who responded to this claim is the same person who said in writing, sorry for not meeting your expectations. They have not called or made any attempt to call me regarding this. They do nothing but blow smoke and shine you on. This needs to resolved.

I went to emergency room late Friday in intense pain. A student did an initial exam and never once touch the area where the pain was, neck and shoulder area, and did all other kind of test that I thought was irrelevant. I waited 30 min and the doc came into the room and told me the only thing that can be done was a pain medicine prescription. He also did not exam or even look at the pain area. He prescribed 6 pain killers after I told him my appointment was The following Monday afternoon, 3 days from the time of my emergency room visit. He prescribed 2 days of pain medicine knowing that I was in intense pain. It is now Sunday night and I am still in intense pain. The doctor obviously did not care based on his 2 min diagnosis and limited pain prescription. I called the emergency and explained that I still had intense pain and ask could they refill the pain medication so I could get through the night and tomorrow until I see my main doctor. I was told that the doctor would not refill the prescription and that I would have to come back to the emergency room. WHAT A JOKE!. I WILL NEVE IN MY RIGHT MIND GO TO TEMPE ST LUKES FOR ANYTHING. After 3 hours at the emergency room in pain and another hour at the 24 hour pharmacy, in addition to the $125 co pay I am worst then when I went to the emergency room . The student, staff, and doctor incompetence and lack of caring is second to none. PLEASE IF YOU ARE IN PAIN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE..................

The email you have listed needs to be updated. I am the Risk Manager and can be contacted at [redacted]Due to the HIPAA laws, we are not able to respond in a public format to any issues that you may request. I am not even able to confirm or deny that this person was a...

patient at one of our facilities. I can say that we do follow up with all patient concerns that are brought to our attention directly to the patient, or appropriate patient representative, and take all concerns very seriously.

We have sent a reply directly to the customer. They should receive it shortly.

Fiancé was brought by ambulance due to heart attach followed by a seizure. Dr. T[redacted] put her in a bed out in the hall with no meds and REFUSED to run a blood test or EKG!!!! All because "you look young and healthy so I don't think we need to do any of that!" Even after specifically requesting him to do so, he walked away and said no!!! I don't care how long he has been a doctor, he has no right to treat a patient that way and act like a cocky piece of st!! Malpractice treading close by.
