Review: I paid 79.99 to have a service technician come to my residence to check on my ac unit that had stop blowing out cold air. The service technician left with the 79.99 and left a ticket explaining what needed to be fixed. He stated the compressor gone bad. We had a warranty on the unit and were told by the company they would have to look into the warranty. We were then notified that we would still be responsible for the labor which would be 475.00. The following day, my husband tried to notify the service technician who had given us his card with his phone number on it to contact him. His voice mail was full and he would only occasionally answer text messages. The last text message we sent was regarding an estimated date for he would be back to replace the compressor. We waited 2 days and tried texting and calling him several more times without any response. I then spoke to a different company who told me they would be able to replace the compressor in a few days. When I tried calling the main office for Temperature-Pros. I spoke with the customer service woman about not receiving any return calls from the technician. The woman informed me it would take two or three weeks for the compressor to be delivered. I then asked her if we could cancel the order because I had found someone else that could get the part in a 3 days. She informed me it would take 2 weeks to cancel the order to allow the other company to order it through the warranty. After speaking to the other company I was informed this was not the case. When I spoke with the customer service lady again her story changed and she told me she could cancel the order that same day so the other company could order it the same day. Finally after allowing the other company to come replace the compressor. The technician for the new company noticed immediately that the compressor was not broken. He stated it was very obvious it was the compacitor due to it being blow apart and burnt. The cost to replace the compacitor was only 85.00 dollars compared to the compressor for 475.00. I was charged 79.99 for Temperature-Pros to tell me I would need to pay them 475.00 for a part that was not even broken. If they would have come out weeks later to replace the compressor, the unit would still not be working and we would have been lied to that the compressor was what was broken.Desired Settlement: I feel that due to the error of the technician not being able to properly diagnosis what was wrong with the unit, the lack of communication, and the lack of returned phone calls and text messages, we should be refunded for the amount of 79.99. They were unable to correctly identify the true problem with our unit and were going to charge us 475.00 for a part that was not even broken.

Review: On April 21st I provided $100 to Temperature Pros to order a piece to fix an electrical unit on a Jacuzzi (other services not contested were provided on this date also). I have a copy of the receipt for the part. Repeated calls were made after this piece was ordered and originally I was told that the part was not in. About a month ago, I was told the part was in and the unit would be fixed. [redacted] from Temperature never showed up. I have called repeatedly (at least 7 or 8 times) and have spoken to the person who answers the call for the business and had been told that this would be taken care of. It has been 2 monthsDesired Settlement: Refund of $100.00
