Review: Sneaky company that gave me the run around now for 3 weeks told me no refunds ever. I didn't sign anything that said no refunds nor did I see anything that said that anywhere. The product is a wordpress template for $75 and support just tells me I'm not installing it properly? I am sick of this company and need my money back but paypal told me that don't cover digital purchases. I have all the proof in emails and just not a company that should be in business form how they treated me ripping me off with something that don't work.Desired Settlement: I need my money back or I will be relentless in putting them down every time I get.

Review: Ordered and paid for a Wordpress theme for our business on Thursday August * in the amount of $124.00. There was a problem from the beginning and our web developer/host could not download the "theme" without crashing his network. Multiple attempts, multiple emails have been sent to TemplateMonster.com (emails only because they have no phone number for tech support) by both us and our web developer/host for one week. There is usually an autoresponse saying that our tech request has a ticket number and they will get back to us. We have received multiple tickets numbers, been told to contact someone else, which we did and then received another autoresponse with a net ticket number. Then they have attempted to contact us by phone - they are obviously outsourced as the messages were unintelligible, with no phone number given to respond. They recently asked me AGAIN for the contact information of our web developer/host, which I provided twice already (I will not provide it a third time). They also asked to have access to our host information: username, password, etc. -which we refuse to give them. The just recently phoned our web developer/host and left another message, again, with no contact information back to them. So far, as of today, August **, there has been no fix, no way to contact them by phone to deal with this issue. We are still out of $124 AND we still don't have a working product.Desired Settlement: A refund is the only outcome we will accept at this time.

Review: I am very upset that I keep getting lied to!! I first talked with 2 different pre-sales chat agent while inquiring about the website templates; before purchasing. I was told by both agents how easy they were to install and how I would not need to be tech savy in order to do so. So, I went ahead based on the agents' advice and purchased a template for my website. However, the agents told complete lies about how easy the template is to install. I was so confused, and got online with several support agents. However, they were not very helpful! All they would tell me is to watch the "help" tutorial videos and I would figure it out. Well, I still was unable to install the template...yet the agents would not help any further. They told me the company would install it for an additional fee....which I was not willing to pay. I immediately asked for a refund since I was unable to use the product and the agent would not help me other than telling me to watch a video, that I had already watched. I have emailed SEVERAL times and get the same response from different agents....that they can give me a credit for future use. I replied several times that a credit does not help me, because I am still unable to use the template. I asked several times in many different emails to have a supervisor call me. However, I have been called one time and the agent told me that I would need to speak to a supervisor and that he would have a supervisor call me. However, I have not received a call from a supervisor yet. And nobody with the company is willing to resolve this issue at all!!Desired Settlement: All I want is a refund for $55! According to there website, a refund is available within 3 days of purchase, and I contacted them within hours!!

Review: I purchased a product from template monster and did not receive product that I paid for. I also paid for professional installation and did not receive that. Template Tuner is a fraudulent company that should avoided.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for their fraudulent actions.

Review: This company has pricey web templates that they sell that don't work as described. Then their customer service is set up to just give you the run around. The pretend that they are working on the situation and give time lines all the time that they don't meet. They will say. "You will get an e-mail in 6 hours" Or 24-48 hours, or within 30 minutes. They don't deliver. And then when you ask for a refund they just ignore it.Desired Settlement: I truly wish this place would go out of business. You can tell by the complaints against them that they aren't doing honest work. They are just wasting people's time. I have wasted every day for a week on this stuff.

Review: purchased a website template and installation from [redacted] (a subdivision of Template Monster) on 01/**/2015 and the sales representative told me that it would take 12 business days to complete the install. They provided me a user portal on their website where I can upload files (such as our logo, banner, etc) and the portal will show updates of the progress on the install. I went ahead and uploaded all of the required graphics and a hand drawn template to show how we'd like the icons to be placed. The [redacted], emails me back on 01/**/2015 and asks for all the information that was previously already provided. I sent the information over to [redacted] and requested that we set up a time to chat to discuss the modifications. [redacted] responded with the following: "Dear [redacted]! unfortunately we are not providing phone management at all. Just an e-mail or a live chat at [redacted]/chat I am available for chat at 6am-2pm EST at the moment our developers are working on the website already. Your document is enough for now. We have no any further questions for the moment. Have a nice day! Best regards, [redacted] Work shift 6 am - 2 pm EST " I've attempted to contact [redacted] or any staff at [redacted] using their online chat and have not been able to respond. So on 01/**/2015 I emailed [redacted] and requested a status update and this was his response: "due to our production manager`s note the updated results should be uploaded to your server within 1-2 business days. I will e-mail you as soon as it is finished. Have a nice day!" Today is 02/** and I have not heard back from Template Tuning. In addition, I sent emails to 3 of their email accounts ('[redacted]', [redacted]) and have yet to hear back from them. I now want a full refund for non-delivery.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for non-delivery. However, I am willing to accept a partial refund if they can complete the job immediately.

Review: Good day, I sincerely hope you will assist me, thank you for your due consideration of this matter.

I am not making any progress with an attempt to secure a refund form Template Monster. I have tried several times with Template Monster's staff to reach a satisfactory conclusion to the dispute but am not making progress.

I paid for a product bundled with a service for one price on their website, which I chose because it gave me reasonable hope of achieving my company goals quickly. The bundle was for a template plus 24 hour installation....bundled together as a single-price purchase option on the Template Monster Website.

This is more than 24 hours. A small delay would have been tolerable but despite several attempts to get a reason for the delay the first response I received from which I could conclude that any meaningful effort to install the template had been made was Posted on: ** February 2015 05:29 AM when [redacted] wrote to tell me for the first time that they were experiencing 'issues' (as an aside, they proposed I switch my domain from [redacted] to [redacted] to solve the problem...which is absolutely NOT necessary to solve the problem). This is 5 days and 3 hours after my initial purchase.

This is well beyond a 24 hour installation and the service failure stripped the product (template) of any value to me since I had to pursue alternate solutions (namely [redacted]) to make progress on my company's ongoing re-branding objectives.

Template Monster terms and conditions state they DO refund for:

'product not-as-described: such issues should be reported to our Technical Support Department within 7 days from the date of the purchase. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the website. Complaints which are based merely on the customer’s false expectations or wishes are not honored. Sample products are available for evaluation purpose at our free sample templates section.'

the website describes a template PLUS 24 hour installation as a bundled option. I would not have bought the template without the 24 hour option. Template Monster did not deliver within 24 hours and therefore the product is not as described and completely useless to me.

My expectations were not false, they were as per the Template Monster advertised BUNDLE: 'Template + Installation'. Template Monster continues to disregard the inconvenience they've caused and the fact that I had to find alternate solutions to my online marketing needs.

I hope you will be able to mediate a full refund of the fees I paid, this is the only outcome I am willing to accept.
