Review: In May 2013 I, I went to Templeton Floor Company to see if I can get laminate flooring that they installed in my home approx. 5 yrs ago to continue the laminate in my hall. [redacted] ordered a sample to guarantee a match. I called Judy in 2-3 weeks re: the sample. They'd gotten it but I'd had no phone call. The sample matched, I asked Judy to place the order. Approx. 3 weeks later I called to check on the installation. In July the flooring was partially installed; however, the size of the tile pattern was smaller than the original floor install 5 yrs ago. Not wanting to wait even longer, I said to install anyway. Before installing, workmen told me Judy ordered the wrong transitions (she ordered metal vs the correct material). Judy ordered the correct ones. I called yet again in about 3 weeks and in August the flooring was finally installed. My main complaints: (1) I did most of the follow up with Judy vs getting good customer service from her; (2) The invoice I got was $100 more than the sales order amount ($1475). I called Judy who told me the extra $100 was for the correct transitions; she didn't tell me this when she ordered them and I thought the price would be the same. (3) When I told her that my dissatisfaction with these multiple issues (plus more but I can't list them all given the limitation of characters left for my complaint), she argued with me, was unpleasant, and gave me very poor customer service. No apologies for any of the problems. I think that for all the time it took for the floor installation and the miscommunication from Judy re: the incorrectly ordered parts and getting flooring that doesn't exactly match the size pattern of what I already have, my ultimate bill should be reduced. I would like to complain to the owner but I don't know who that is; even their website doesn't state who owns the business. I've never written to the Revdex.com so am not sure this is the way to deal with this, but I hope you're able to help in some manner. Thank you.Desired Settlement: 1. Reduction of bill as a good faith measure for the numerous problems I had with Templeton Floor Company, and specifically with Judy Rueff.2. A sincere apology to me for the poor quality of customer service I received.3. Perhaps Templeton Floor owners can offer some kind of customer service training because it's sorely needed.4. Downgrade the Revdex.com rating for Templeton Floor Company to accurately reflect the issues that future customers are likely to receive. I won't return again.
