Review: I purchased a vacation from Templeton Tours Cruise left from Tampa Feb 16-21 , 2015 . I paid $ 1880.00 for two people , Bottom line is I did not get to come out of my state room the entire trip other than about 7 hours due to a room they put us in that was to be NON-SMOKING and was NOT.I contact Guest Services and they did move our room after three days and two visit to the Ship Doctor and $ 1400.00 in Doctor bills. They did agree to pay for doctor bills but stated that [redacted] would have to compensate us for the cost of the room. Left several messages with guest services for him to contact me ( Never contacted on ship ) I called once I returned home and finally received a call two weeks later for him to have a Nasty ATTITUTE and say well I am not doing anything and I guess crusing is not for you. I was out of work for a week once return home ( I am self employed and lost about $ 6000.00 dollars the week I was out ) Plus I am a Pastor and was out of Church two services . Had a reaction to smoke ! Was unable to enjoy the cruise I was layed up in bed due to the fact they put us in a room with smoke . In all I am out a total of $ 9120.00 for a trip I didn't get to enjoy . $ 500 gas travel to Tampa/ and back , $100 food , $1880 cost of cruise, $640 rental car , $ 6000 week of work and than for [redacted] Templeton to act as if I am trying to get something for nothing is offensive . He has NO Customer Service skills what so ever . I am going to file a Law Suit if not reinbursted for this cruise.Desired Settlement: I would like a REFUND of the cost of the Cruise $ 1880.00 .. I am not asking for other damages unless this ends up in court and than I will sue for the cost above and court cost , Attorney Fee's , Collection Fee's , Filing Fee's .

The complainant maintains that the cabin on the cruise they purchased had a smoky smell that has resulted in chronic health problems. Although the customer boarded the ship in the early afternoon, he did not bother to register a complaint about the smell in the cabin until after 9PM in the evening. The next morning the cruise line followed protocol and performed a deep cleaning of the cabin and used an air purifier to remove any smell. The customers continued to complain, and were offered another cabin, but refused. The customer was seen in the ship’s infirmary, and the cruise line covered all associated charges.Within the first two days of the cruise this customer also filed a complaint with the ship’s front desk alleging damage to his clothing caused by the ship’s laundry service.It is important to note that this customer was already traveling on a discounted ticket due to complaints he had made regarding the previous year’s cruise.This customer will not be accepted on any future travel programs offered by our company.Sincerely,[redacted]TEMPLETON TOURS INC.
