While I found this introduction to be relatively weak in terms of what we had in common, that's to be expectedHowever, last week my company went through a major reduction in force and my job was eliminatedA financial and personal shockFacing unemployment for an undetermined length of time, I called Tampa Singles, explained my situation and was going to provide proof of my job loss and asked if there was any way they could pro-rate and provide a refund to my credit card as even half of $would go a long way until I find another jobThey said their policies prohibited refunds under any circumstancesHad I not paid in full by credit card, I could have "stopped future payments" but having done the right thing and paid in full, I was not getting anything backI don't recall being given this option during the sales pitch, by the wayVery inflexible organization that is obviously more interested in keeping a buck rather than helping "lonely hearts." Being unemployed does not make me a good "match" candidate and my priority is paying bills and finding a jobI am astounded that there was no consideration given to a client in a legitimate financial bindI find this to be very ethically wrong although probably not illegalI would definitely NOT recommend this organization and I will go to lengths to warn others considering their service
