I am responding to the complaint from Ms*** ***. Ms*** purchased the vehicle she is referring to from Temstad Automotive on February 27, 2015.All vehicles we sell have to pass a State Inspection through NYS
DMV, Division of Field Investigations and then via our computerized State Inspection Facility. Vehicles cannot pass a state inspection without meeting the State's criteria.We do not sell vehicles that are not meeting the safety standards of NYS...hence these inspections.We attempted to address all issues Ms*** presented, within reason, based on the fact that this was a used vehicle and sold "AS IS". As information, about a week after she purchased the vehicle, Ms***'s boyfriend/husband came in to speak to the GM of Temstad regarding items he wanted to be fixed on the car with no charge. He indicated that he had been incarcerated when Ms*** purchased the vehicle, and indicated he said she should not have purchased the vehicle without asking him. Initially when Ms*** first purchased the vehicle she seemed very happy with her purchase.
