Customer received a coupon code with a set expiry of Feb 2016 - all "analog" members of this club were given the same expiry. Notification of this expiration was included in the email confirmation of membership renewal , our membership FAQ, and in their online membership profile right next to the...

The member shirt in question was one of two membership items (the other being a set of eco friendly luggage tags), for which this code was valid until Feb 2016. As per the membership terms description, the code could be redeemed for one of the two items, the other being available for purchase for $20 exclusively to members. At no time were customers knowingly charged for one single item, and in cases where a system error occurred and a customer was inadvertently charged for this item, an immediate refund was issued.
Even thought the member item coupon was expired, we offered a good faith gesture of a coupon code for free digital bootlegs. This amount was to be in the value of $20.
No refund will be issued. No replacement shirt will be sent. The offer of the bootleg code stands.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The company has not address the issues that:
1. They are breaking a contract. There is clearly a list of items for the fanclub. I paid for these but didn't get them
2. I paid for an item and its postage that was never sent to me but was never refunded or given a similar item.
3. The cut off date is not set out in any advertising (on the website) for the club. There is a list of items included when I signed up, I did not receive all of these. I received an email when I signed up which stated the deadline (three months before the deadline)
4. A reminder email was never sent to me to say that there was an impending deadline in the run up to the deadline.
5.Several other members also missed out on the fanclub item that they should have received, which proves that the system is flawed.
6.There was an old system, where everything was posted that was due to member. I system of redeeming codes is unfair.
