Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I would think that if any work was done to my car I would have been shown paper work saying what was really done to fix itAs for fixing the clunking noise NO it was not fixed, I know I bought a used car from them, This is not the first car I have bought from Ten Point
I also bought a *** from them and the only complaint I had was the radio didn't workThey offered to have it fixed but I did it my selfI understand it was a used car, but they were told about the noise it was making and still didn't fix it, If they did all this work why would they not tell me where
they took it to be worked on and why not show me an invoice as to what work was doneWHat are they hiding? The noise is so loud in the front end that you can hear it over the
radioand *** *** told Jerry on the phone while I was there that the front struts were bad, not the motor mountsSO this is NOT a new complaint on this carIt is the same one that was not fixed like Mr.W*** said it was

To whom it may concern,I am writing a 2nd letter on the matter of *** *** ID# ***I paid to have fixed every complaint that **and *** had on the vehicle fixedI put them in a loaner car for a little over a week until we were able to fix her car in entiretyThe reason why she did not get receipts is because I paid for the repairsThe reason why I took the work from * * * *** is because they diagnosed the vehicle wrong and was trying to tell me it needed a transmission, when in fact it had a vacuum leak which was easily fixedThey would have had me put a $transmission in and it still couldn't be fixedWe no longer do any business with *** *** because of several instances like this where the diagnosis was completely wrong and of how they treated customersIt is my right as an owner to take the vehicles wherever I want to have them repaired when I am footing the billThe vehicle does not make any noises as I personally drove it after the fix with the mechanic*** is complaining about a strut being badStruts are not covered under warranty and I fixed every complaint she hadSome people you just can't please no matter how many hoops you jump throughI will not pay to fix a strut after I fixed every issue they complained aboutThis is a case of **and *** buying a 117,mile car and expecting it to be brand newThey call it a used car for a reason...SincerelyJerry * W***Owner Tenpoint Preowned Auto Sales

To whom it may concern:Hello my name is Jerry W[redacted] and I am the owner of Tenpoint Preowned Auto Sales of [redacted] Wv. I am writing you this letter to explain the situation with [redacted]. **. and [redacted] purchased a 2006 [redacted] on 6/27/2014. Approximately 2 days after the...

purchase of the vehicle they called with a complaint that the air was not operating correctly and the vehicle was reving up in park and in drive and that there was a loud banging sound in the front end when goin over bumps. At the purchase of the vehicle I had told them would put new rotors on the vehicle because they had complained about a pulsation in the brakes and we also fixed the ac, I told the [redacted]'s to come in and let us take a look at it. I gave them a loaner car to drive. We found that there was a vacuum leak on a hose which we fixed that was causing the engine to rev. We fixed the ac and I put rotors on the vehicle. We determined that there was a bad motor mount that was causing the banging noise when the [redacted]'s went over severe bumps in the road. It took approximately a week to fix all of these things on the car. The [redacted]'s were called to pick up there car on july 7 and to return their loaner car. Approximately a week after they picked up the car they called the office and said there was a slight rattle under the front of the car and that the brakes were shot and wanted me to pay to fix it. They had the car taken to another shop and that shop had said it needed one strut and front brake pads. I have and inspection ticket that shows the brake pads were miced at 3/8 of an in which passes Maryland and West Virginia specs for inspection. I told the [redacted]s that I had replaced everything that I told them I would and fixed every issue that the car had. I also told them that if they wanted to put new brake pads on the front of the vehicle and replace a strut that they would have to pay for it themselves. In review the brake pads passed all state regulations and a strut making a small rattle does not mean it is bad. The complaint was a loud bang in the front end which was fixed by the motor mount and the pulsation in the brakes was fixed by the rotors. bent over backwards to stand behind my customer but in this case you have to draw the line somewhere. They purchased a used vehicle with 118,000 miles on it of course its not goin to be perfect. I try to make them asgood as I can before the sale but alas sometimes issues arise.SincerelyJerry * W[redacted]Owner Tenpoint Preowned Auto Sales
