I would like a refund for the month of July as I didn't receiveThe care i.e meals, washing of clothes nor was I able too access nurse as promised
We have included with our comments a copy of our brochure which outlines our offerings and servicesIn nearly percent of all
situations where a potential resident is considering moving into our facility, our staff consults with care staff and social workers who have worked with that individual at The *** **.An application is made out with the potential resident, care staff, and *** staff.A visit to the home is arranged and most potential clients like to communicate frequently with our staff prior to deciding to make the moveAt our home we pride ourselves with the completeness of our communication before and after clients decide to join usIt is our experience that each veteran has unique needs and problems which we become aware of through this application processThis particular veteran had a history of communication problems and problems of getting along with those in authority, and fellow veteransWe did, however, want to give him-a chance with our environment, since we have had success with-other clients given our management and support styleI have over years' experience in the Veteran Home business. There were several concerns raised by the individual you spoke with recentlyOur response follows: Residents do not sign a leaseThey stay with us on a month to month basis. No security deposit is requiredThe rent is $per month but may be lowered if the individual has income problems(Similar housing costs $2000-$per month)An individual may pay more than $if greater supervision because of a medical conditionMany of our residents driveAs requested we do provide transportation to medical appointmentsthe resident simply schedules it with staff

I have reviewed owner's response and would like to say thatI was appalled by the incorrect and downright false information he supplied.I Never received any paperwork about the care home nor was I offered meals conducive to good health for those with diabetes on the contrary you were not offered an option nor a snack. It was well known that I was Diabetic but it didn't matter.I was not checked on at anytime during my stay and was told that this is a business and it is about making money. For this person to profess to know me and my personal history is ludicrous and inaccurate. This person is in business to make money period and will tell anyone who may be interested in a place whatever is necessary to get them there and will do the least amount to insure they remain healthy and stable. Also regardless I believe that as a business owner this person has an ethical and legal duty to give prospective client's the type of people they will be living with.( [redacted])Giving the client information that may or may not affect their decision to reside in his facility. The bottom line is this gentleman is a liar and would do whatever necessary to protect his business and status.Thank youRespectfully[redacted]
