Tenison At White Rock

Before applying to Tenison at White Rock, I had debt owed to a Rental Property. The debt was almost 3 years old and had been sold to a collection company by the name of Pro Collect. I was told by the apartment Manager Cassandra at Tenison that, as long as the debt was paid in full and I could provide proof, I wouldn't have any issues being approved for their apartments. I went and borrowed $7000.00 from my 401K because, although the debt was no longer affecting my credit, I needed to pay it off eventually so that I could purchase a new home soon. Well, I paid the debt of $2269.50 off in full at the office of Pro Collect and they provided me with a receipt and a letter to give to apartments that the debt was paid in full and will be deleted from my credit. I took the information given and applied for apartment at Tenison and was denied. Prior to this I explained the entire situation. After being denied I was patiently waiting for my deposit back but, still applied elsewhere. The next apartments I applied for, I was approved and provided them with the same info a few days later. Around the 30th day, I still hadn't received my deposit back from Tenison so I began to call but the manager avoided all contact with me. Finally I emailed her about my deposit becuase now it was going on 45 days and she emailed me back saying that I forfeited my depoait and was not gettimg my money back because I provided her with fraudulent information. She said that my receipt and paid in full letters were not real and therefore I will not get anything back and that came from her corporate office too. She also emailed me prior to this a copy of a deposit refund of $250.00. None of my information was fraudulent, it was all real. I called the collection office and they told me that they'd only gotten one call on my behalf and that was from the apartments that approved me. The debt has already been deleted from my credit report as promised so it couldn't have been fradulent therefore I need my full $350 back from Tenison.
