These guys did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

we hired a drywall contractor to finish our basement, we had a water leak so we left off a few pieces of rock until we got the leak repaired, we went ahead and paid him because we held him up and he promised to return and finish the job. we learned the leak was from one of his screws, we called him and asked him to come back and finish the job, he refused. we hired *** from tennessee drywall to finish the job for us, they did a great job and he showed us 11 things that the other crew didn't do right and *** took care of them and did not charge any extra for it..I would highly recommend them to anyone..the other crew told us we had mold in a closet and needed tore out and re done, *** laughed and told me it was not mold and all I needed to do was to re paint with stain blocker. my husband bought a gallon of stain blocker and painted the closet and it worked perfectly at a cost of 29.00 instead of the 495.00 that he estimated the price to be and this did not include the re trim and paint...thank you , you are a true professional

This company does not honor their contracts. They lie and make excuses daily throughout the job. Example, if they tell you they will be there at 10am, they may arrive by noon. However, then they say they didn't give an arrival time! They do not value their customers' time. Our contract said job would be completed in 5-6 days. We released them on day 8 with an incomplete job as we were exhausted with them and needed to be able to go back to our jobs. We have had to clean up after them each day. We have also had to fix poor workmanship areas on our walls and ceiling. We will not recommend this company to anyone! This experience has been a nightmare!

tennessee drywall co had done 4 jobs for me,the first job he did was to go over the remodel contractors work ,the following 3 he did the whole job,they did great work for us and we will use them on all our jobs...

If you choose to read nothing else I've written - please look at the photos I have posted on multiple review websites and AVOID THESE PAINTERS! I have many many more photos of the botched job if interested.

You know those kind of people who don't hold up their end of the bargain and they come up with every excuse under the sun for why they didn't hold up their end, including blaming even you? If you want to spend professional painter prices for the most unprofessional people and the most unprofessional paint job you'll ever see, then hire these people! We have never been LESS satisfied with a home services company.

Red Flag #1- They told us the check we wrote for the first half of the work to "Tennessee Drywall" couldn't be deposited because the company dissolved years ago and instead to write it to "***". Yet the estimate they gave us was on "Tennessee Drywall" letterhead and they advertise under that name. (We should have fired them at that point for false advisement, overcharging, and lack of insurability.)

They spent almost 4 weeks doing what they told us would take 1 week and they still did not finish. And you guessed it - every excuse under the sun for constant late show-ups, no-shows, needing cash advances, etc. They even admitted to having to send a girl home one day for being "all messed up on some kind of drugs".. this with my children in the next room. Not only did they not finish painting, but they also destroyed several areas of our newly refinished wood flooring by not covering and taping properly and left smeared and splattered paint on cabinetry, windows, doors, etc.

AND THEN the "owner", ***, had the audacity to show up to our house one night (in front of my children) cussing and extremely combative about us not wanting to pay the 17% remaining balance we owed because the work was not done - not even close. AND he blamed their extremely poor time and financial estimating ON US! Being the admittedly naive, too nice, and honestly frightened person I was, I still paid them 100% of what we owed in order to avoid this unstable man coming back and threatening my family again - upon receiving payment and providing me a receipt of full payment, his wife "promised" she would come back and finish.

AND THEN the "owner", ***, had the audacity to call me a couple days later demanding $500 more after we were paid in full! He did not account for one of the three cash advances his wife requested. After a very long and painful conversation with him, he apologized, then promised they'd come back and finish the painting and clean their mess, BUT OF COURSE they have never returned our texts or calls after that.

Plain and simply put - they took our money and ran before the job was done. We paid for a service and only ran into excuses, headaches, and pain through the seemingly neverending process. The photos speak for themselves. I am certain we were not the first and I am most certain we will not be the last VICTIMS of these scam artists. Don't be naive like I was - RUN RUN RUN. And please find true professionals, not some Craigslist wannabe painters.

Lessons learned - we will never again hire home services "professionals" off of Craigslist, we will always trust our gut when we first engage with a service professional, we will document everything to the very minute detail, and we WILL NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN MATERIALS UNTIL THE WORK IS DONE!
