According to our records, Mr*** inquired about his rebate denial via email to our office and was communicated back to on 7/
that it would be honoredHis original receipt provided from Quadratec, provided a part # in the item # column that was not valid for the promotionHowever, after receiving his complaint via our email system, it was reviewed closer and in the description area was the Tenneco part numberThe UPCs provided were for the specific muffler itself and the tailpipeHe purchased the full system so the UPCs did not match the kit part number which further caused confusion at the rebate houseAgain, after review on 7/20, our team approved his claim and notified him promptly that his rebate would be mailedThis issue was already resolved prior to the complaint being filedI consider this matter closed as the rebate has been fulfilled

This company makes it seem as if they did nothing wrongHowever all of the required information was properly provided nearly months ago and unless I filed this claim I have no confidence that they would have honored the rebateI think they depend on customers to give up and frankly I believe this a poor way to run a business and borderline advertisementOnly after months of trying to get my money and my constant inquiries were they begrudgingly willing to accept the claim and again although the rebate was Presley filed exactly in accordance with their instructions in the first placeAll I can say is buyer beware!

I am rejecting this response because: I called [redacted] and was told outright, "I can send out a card but my system shows the card was never sent out, It would show if a card was issued and sent out and it does not". She then said,"you should receive the card in 7 to 10 days".  NOT the first time I have heard something like this. If Tenecco and [redacted] customer service was at all interested in fulfilling this rebate program, why am I being told months later that they have created an account but never sent out a prepaid card?  I can tell you, because either the people running the rebate are careless or they are OK with frustrating consumers to the absolute extreme when they give up. I am more convinced than ever that this is a poorly run fraud.  I will let you know if a card ever arrives but as of now, I believe the company's response reflects their corrupt rebate program.
