I Duane L*** owner of Tennerton Heating and plumbing responded to a call from *** and *** *** on September 18, to come repair a water line on their residence at ** *** *** *** ** ***, upon arrival of the residence Mr *** began showing me the location that the
line should be burried in the gas line was fifteen feet from the locationMr *** showed me that it was located so we both agreed that we did not need to call Miss Utility since the line was farther way than thoughtThe gas line is the line that goes from the meter to the home, I gave Mr *** a rough estimate of the charges to do the full job the estimate was for the amount of $1,to $1,I charged Mr *** $1,to do the job in fullI feel I do not owe Mr *** any money because he was in understanding of the costs of the job before I started. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Remarks concerning message from business.  See corresponding numbers below to address his statements on attached copy.1) concerning the date of service we contacted Tennerton Heating and Plumbing on Sept 14, 2015 for a leak in our water line.  Mr L[redacted] and his helper came the next day, Sept 15, 2015 as you can see in the bill he gave us.  We did not talk to him on Sept 18, 2015.2) concerning the gas line being 15 ft from the water line.  As we stated in our previous complaint, we asked Mr. L[redacted] to call Miss Utility, he said they were not accurate.  My husband did not agree with Mr L[redacted] that Miss Utility should not be called.  My husband nor I told Mr L[redacted] that the gas line was 15 ft away from the water line.  My husband also told him that there was a tracer line that Miss Utility could track the gas line.  Mr L[redacted] and his helper used 2 metal coat hangers to find the gas line.  As you can see in the pictures that we are enclosing the gas and water lines are not 15 ft apart but approximately 2 ft apart and cross at one point.3) concerning Mr L[redacted]s rough estimate, he did not give my husband nor I any kind of estimate before he started the project on Sept 15, 2015.4) Mr L[redacted] did not give us an itemized parts price list which we requested.  That were used in repairing the gas and water lines.  We were overcharged approximately $400.00.Enclosed:  Pictures of gas meter and where digging was done on Sept 15, 2015.  Bill stating date service was done on Sept 15, 2015.  Checks stating date service was done on Sept 15, 2015.  Thank you [redacted] and [redacted].
