We hired Re-Bath to remodel our main bathroom around December 2015. They did a good job except for all the dust when they pulled up the tile. There was dust everywhere through the house and it took me a few hours to clean up. Despite this, we decided to use them again for our other bathroom. Everything started smoothly enough in the last week of April 2016, but the installer had a death in the family and could not finish. Two replacements came in from another area and finished the work. There were some small things which I pointed out that never got fixed, as the installers seemed to be in a hurry. Small things like the paint needed touching up in a few spots, mainly the line where the wall and ceiling meet. The light fixture is not level, but it's not a big deal...all fairly small things- but they add up. A bigger deal was that the tile was not right, I pointed it out and they replaced two tiles, which I knew would not fix the problem. I decided to have another company fix the floor. The real problem was that the subfloor had a bit of a warp and tile would never work, so I had the new company install linoleum. It would have been nice if Re-Bath had noticed this, but at least my bathroom was finished...or so I thought.

On 8-19-16 I had a plumber looking for a leak that my termite inspector had notified me about. The plumber informed me that the shower drain had never been connected for my new shower, so for over 3 months the water had been dumping into my crawlspace. I figured it must have been around 2,000 gallons of water dumped under my house. I called Re-Bath immediately and they said that they would pay the $220 plumber bill (real generous after I paid them 15k for the bathroom remodel) and notify the owner. It has been a week and the owner has neither attempted to pay or contact me. Perhaps the plumbing refund will arrive, but that's not the point. It would have been nice if they pretended to care.

A company should not be rated on how they perform when everything goes well, but rather how they perform when problems happen. Re-Bath performed poorly on this job, so I felt it necessary to inform other potential customers.
