Tennis, John Towing Reviews (6)

To: Revdex.com ID# [redacted] In response to the complaint that you received, there are a few things that I would like to point out that I do not see included in the customers statement. The first thing that I want to point out is that the owner of this vehicle called the day before and was told that if it was picked up after the hour time from which it was towed that there would be additional charges for storage, she was toid that if it was not picked up before 9:30am then there would be storage on itShe did not show up until after noon.On her next issue, when the young man that she sent into the gate to bring the car out to her, he approached another employee and that person went out to the vehicle to see if they could help them get it going, so the rule of only person in the gate was held to, and that was explained before anyone went in to get the vehicle, and the were successful in getting the vehicle going and the young man drove it out.But the biggest issue that we need to address is that the reason she was told to move away from the gate, is because she was standing there kicking at me gate that secures that parking lotThis gate works on a magnet, and she was putting pressure on it that is abusive and by no means an acceptable behavior method of someone else's property. There was never foul language used towards this young lady while she was here.I do not feel that she is in any way owed an apology since she is the one who created the problems, not the towing company[redacted] OwnerJohn Tennis Towing, Inc

before and was told that if it was picked up after the 24 hour time from which it was towed that there would be additional charges for storage, she was toid that if it was not picked up before 9:30am then there would be storage on it. She did not show up until after 12 noon.On her next issue, when the young man that she sent into the gate to bring the car out to her, he approached another employee and that person went out to the vehicle to see if they could help them get it going, so the rule of only 1 person in the gate was held to, and that was explained before anyone went in to get the vehicle, and the were successful in getting the vehicle going and the young man drove it out.But the biggest issue that we need to address is that the reason she was told to move away from the gate, is because she was standing there kicking at me gate that secures that parking lot. Review: I currently am living at the [redacted] complex. Since living there my car has been towed twice. I had a parking pass on my vehicle the first time and apparently tennis couldnt read it. Until I could resolve the matter the parked in the visitor parking space and then they towed it again. When picking up my car the women in charge was very rude and inconsiderate and made me pay or it even though it was illegally towed. I've heard many other stories occurring like this.Desired Settlement: I would like the 130 dollars back and I also like your chapter to look into tennis towing. There practices are unethically and they scam students all the time illegally towing their vehicles.

Review: I could not start my car on Sept 27, 2014. I called [redacted].John Tennis came one hour later. He told that it was no the battery. He told me he did not want to work with the car. He took $16 cash from me for extra miles. He towed the car to the Hyundai dealer, next door to his office. On Monday (Sept 29), the dealer told me that it was the battery. The bill was $185.I paid $180 + $5 coupon. I called John Tennis and requested back $16 I paid on Sept 27 for nothing. He refused to return, and he told me that on Sept 27 he did not work with me, not with the car.Desired Settlement: So I request now John Tennis to return me $16 + $180 = $196.In addition I request an apology for wasting 3 hours of my time on Sept 27 and 1 hour today (Sept 29). I also would appreciate his explanation why he did not want to work with me.

Review: Very unprofessional. Slaps on extra fees and charges for things that are not present. The person who was assisting me yelled obscenities across the lot in front of my 10 yr old child, and refused to give me information on who her manager was or what her name was either. Took video and pictures in her personal cell phone, of my son and cursed at him as we retrieved our vehicle. Refused to supply the policy for assessing or noting details on charges. The list goes on and on.Desired Settlement: Civil matter

Review: I went to the lot to get my car. When I had called the price she told me was $130. When I went to pay, she told me it was $168, her reasoning was that I was "late". My mother, boyfriend and I were all present. I have recently got surgery and take medications that impair my driving so my mother insisted that he go get the car. When I was eagerly waiting outside the impound lot gate, the woman at the counter yelled "GET AWAY FROM MY GATE.". I walked away from the gate, realizing that it was an issue for the woman at the front desk. I look across the impound lot and realize my car wouldn't start. I went inside and asked if I could please go in. (I drive an older car and you have to turn the key just right to start it in the ingition). The lady told me no, and I said that it's my car. And she questioned me on "why couldn't you get it yourself?". I didn't respond before another employee had just pulled up and starting making comments about me. I had told them that they were being unprofessional and all I got back was a [redacted] you.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology for the way they handled it being that the car was insightfully towed in the first place. Working in the customer service industry for years, I know that is no way to treat a customer or a person in general. I would also like some type of compensation for being overcharged and for the way I was treated.
