Do not use this company had a new flat roof put on my laundry mat in order to sell the property major problems within one year company would not back yet because in the contract it says if you sell to new owner change of ownership the warranty is void I think it's a shame that the new owner had to put all this money into a roof that was put on less than a year ago bad bad bad work

I applied the product that you recommended, the exact way that you instructed, preparing the roof the exact way you instructed.

The product had 47 hours to dry before the first rain fall. We had some heavy rains go through the area and, the product has softened and is peeling off.

I know from this issue in the past, that in the winter when the water freezes the ice will lift this strip up and water will run behind the fascia board, which you installed, and leak into the garage.

The product which your crew used was black, this was white. I am making every effort to be proactive and avoid an issue down the road. Perhaps you could recommend another product, the one your crew used, to resolve this issue before an inside leak occurs.

We are aware of the situation. It should be noted that the roof is not leaking, and this is not a warranty situation. This would fall under preventative action. As such we suggested a product for Mr [redacted] to try. That product did not work, as the product lit indicates it has a curing time. The rain came before the curing time finished. Regardless, we are providing Mr [redacted] with a specialized product. Below is the correspondence which took place on 2August2016. From Tennis to Mr [redacted], the white silicone should’ve adhered fine. Regardless, I’m going to send you out a tube of the black lap sealant. It’s not readily available anywhere si I’ll get one out to you this week Response form Mr [redacted]: Thanks Drew, I'll be waiting for it. As I'm sure you are aware, during periods of heavy rains pounding can occur on flat roofs. According to the manufacturer, this white product was never intended to be covered by water. It held fine until the heavy rains occurred. The black product does not seem to have this issue. Upon completion, I will take photos for your records. Thanks again for your efforts. [redacted]

Review: Contracted for roof replacement in Sept, 2013. Work completed by sub-contractors from Ohio and Tennis Roofing has no concept or knowledge of the workmanship of this job, as they did not come to inspect the completed job. We paid for the work in full on Sept 13, 2013. We were told verbally by their representative ([redacted]) that there was a 25 year guarantee on the roofing materials and a 3 year warranty on the labor. In June, 2014 we discovered that the roof ridge vent, which was installed as part of the contract, is coming apart. Contacted the company the week of June 16th and were told that a warranty person would contact us within 3/4 days. As of June 30, no contact. We called to confirm when someone would be out and were told on this call that there is no labor warranty. They stated that they could send someone out to look at the problem but it would cost us for the labor to repair any defects. With the rainy spring and summer thus far, we are concerned ad to what other damage this defect may be creating.Desired Settlement: Repair the defect with no cost to us.
