We received a complaint in the mail this past week so I wanted to send you the response. The individual that emailed us was straight out nasty and has no idea how to communicate. She has lied about items in her complaint and we are happy to show that. I'm going to include the screenshot that she...

actually sent to us which clearly states what is included. Allow me to highlight that nowIncludes: Tacos, Guac-n-salsa bar, tequila samples and more fun then you could imagine. This screenshot was taken directly off the [redacted] website which is the venue where we held the event. This is run by the city of Cincinnati. The taco area actually had two bars where people could custom order their tacos. They pick the meat and the toppings. We also had a huge nacho bar that had 2 types of salsa and guac and that was open to everyone and all you can eat. There are plenty of posts online from people expressing how much they loved the tacos and nacho area. Truly not sure how she missed it. She also said there were no outside vendors which is another lie. There was a lady selling cheesecakes and she sold out. There were other vendors working out of their trucks on the street.[redacted] is owned by the city and it's always been and always will be a public area. We never promoted the event as private. If her shirt had a hole in it, we would have absolutely replaced it. We partnered with a local charity that ran the check in area and did a great job. I have a hard time believing that they were rude to people especially since our staff was there as well and saw no one being rude. Finally, this individual has done nothing but complain but if you go to our Facebook page, you'll see all the reviews and see that their are way more people that are happy than not. We are still over 4/5 stars on our reviews. In all the years we have hosted events, we have come to learn that you can't make everyone happy and there are always going to be people that just complain. We do our best to create fun and exciting events and 95% plus of the time that is exactly what happens.We will not be issuing a refund to this person. It clearly states all sales final, no refunds all over our site and in the terms and conditions they click when buying the ticket. The email she sent us was not even close to the proper way to talk to people. And the fact that she can lie so easily about parts of the event is troubling. We blacklisted her name as we just don't want these types of people at our events. It's one thing to come to us and express your frustration and issues and do it in an adult manner and do it right. It's another thing to fly off the handle, attack us and say things that are just not true at all. This person has chosen to try and show any bad thing they can. If you are going to put a report together, I'd like the chance to add reviews from the people that loved that event. These people came to the event and had a blast.  Here is a link to the reviews. You can easily see there were people happy. If are event was some kind of disaster like the Taco Fest two weeks before you'd see tons of horrible reviews. There is a total of 3 -7 poor reviews and that's out of 1500 people that came. Also, in most cases, the only people you hear from are the unhappy ones because people love to complain. Happy people just don't usually come and leave nice reviews.She pointed out a review done by our own. This is true. It was also done on May 10th and was a simple statement. It was over a month before the event. And after the event, there were way more positive reviews made then negative reviews. The food was open food. We had a huge area of the park with a huge nacho bar that was unlimited eating. Included nachos, guac and 2 types of salsas. The taco bar is a taco bar. You build your own taco. Just because someone serves you doesn't mean it's not a taco bar. It was all customized tacos. I know the Revdex.com sees this stuff all the time. And I don't know how you deal with it to be honest. So many complainers for the wrong reasons. Again, if our event was even close to as bad as this person was saying, you would see others like her and not just 3-5 people out of 1500. You'd see hundreds of people complaining and that didn't happen. I Was in the tent when the wind storm came and it just happened to blow fountain water on people. Mother nature is not in our control. And it was also 98 degrees out and honestly, most people loved it. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The feeling is mutual, I've never gone to an event that falsely advertised what a ticket purchases or ran every part of the event in such a disorganized fashion and then berated a customer for lack of satisfaction and dismay.  As nothing short of a full refund will alleviate my dispute, I am most definitely not inclined to wear / advertise such an event.  This is just an additional cost that was not exercised or handled appropriately during the event.  The vendor is free to say whatever they would like about me, I am a very easy going person who simply could not believe the epic failure of this event to satisfy any of the claims made.  When they ran out of tequila on top of everything else, I had simply had enough.  There are many others on their facebook page who shared my belief, and asking those who spoke kindly to go and rate them with a "five" certainly skews a 4.4 overall rating.  The further act of changing the wording on their website only further illustrates improper and inaccurate business practices by the vendor.I decline the offer short of full reimbursement.Thank you.Regards, [redacted]
