There were many problems with installation from *** *** Co (sub contractor)The one I am choosing to report is in regards to the terms and conditions of the contractThis contract was sub-contracted from Terbrock Construction (***) through ***Originally *** installed a heat pump that appeared to be incorrect from what I was expectingSo I requested the quote from Terbrock Building CoI was sent the quote (page only) and found that indeed the incorrect heat pump had been installed compared to the contractI questioned this and asked when the correct one would be installed and was told they gave us a unit that actually cost $moreI researched and found that the unit installed was closer to $less than what was on the quote*** agreed to replace the incorrect unitThey claimed to have found a new one that was correct to the quoteWhen they brought it you could tell it was not completely newI was not sure if used or notWe request

Responding to the cost of the additional air conditioner. The unit started off with a Lennox XP17 but it was not available. The subcontractor put in an XP 15 without my knowledge. with an additional cost of $1600. We reduced the cost to $1300 and the customer thinks we are ripping him off and is refusing to pay. The customer was given an upgrade for less than cost and still thinks he is being cheated.
