I bought windows from Smart Tech and from the sales man to the installers are very professional people, I am happy with the work which they did form me and I will tell to my friends about them
We had our window installed on October We did not get the product that we thought we were getting The existing window in the house was a wood frame window, butting up to an inch thick wood jam We asked for a window to be made with a solid one piece jam to fit the whole width of the inch thick wall This would aesthetically match the look of the other windows in the house (which we showed to the Smart Tech Windows associate)Instead, the window that was manufactured and installed had three jam extensions added on to it to make up the full width of the inch thick wall Before we had a window with two pieces butted together, now we have a window with three pieces butted togetherThe window installed looked nothing like any of the windows that were shown in the brochures and looked nothing like the sample window that was shown to us during our consultation The Smart Tech Windows associate was shown all the other windows in the house, as a comparison, and did not convey that the jam would be made up of extensions At no point did Smart Tech describe what the final product would look like We felt as though we were misled into believing that we were getting something completely different than the actual final product
There were several flaws and defects to the window that we feel were caused at the time that the window was manufactured When we pointed out these flaws and defects to the Smart Tech Windows associate, he did acknowledge the flaws, but told us that those were acceptable manufacturing defects To us, they are not acceptable
The window was poorly installed It is not level The window jam sags in the middle Additionally, the front of the jam is lower than the back of the jam The screw holes are misaligned, not even and not aesthetically placed Again, these screw holes and cap covers that are required to cover the screw holes, were not shown on any brochure or the sample product that we were shown
When we pointed out all these issues they were not willing to accept fault in misleading us on what the window would look like, nor were they willing to accept the issues with the installation and manufacturing defects
My experience with Smart Tech was not a positive one, and as a result I would not recommend this company to anyoneThe "compensation" that they tried to offer us in no way was adequate, and only proved to us that customer satisfaction is not their number one priority
Service are good all the worker in smart tech are good, the frame of all windows are nice, good quality, I will recommend smart tech to my friends and partners

Let me start by saying that I had received a cold call from Smart Tech and they were offering 30% off on their windows. Seldom do I listen to phone solicitors, however, I thought, why not? I need a new window. Let the guy come out and give me his quote. I was so impressed! I could never have afforded a window up front and I knew that. Andrew [redacted] got me on the Hydro Plan. He gave me an amazing price from start to finish and so I ordered the window.
I am so excited to say that they arrived exactly on time, got to work and got it all done in less than 3 hours.
I love my new window. It has made my old house look like new and I can see clearly now.
I would recommend them to everyone. Great prices, great professional work, and guys with a great sense of humor.
