October 17th, 2014, at approximately 1pm, the customer returned back to the office saying that they could not stay in the cottage because it was too cold; there are two heaters in the cottage, in order to heat the room to the desired temperature the heaters must be increased for about minutesHowever, I did not want to argue with the customer, so I gave her the keys to another room which is a larger nice efficiency roomThe customers checked into that room and had already unloaded their belongings into the room for a few hours while they went outAfter a couple hours the customer came back to the office again, claiming that they did not want to stay in that room either, because they had decided to stay at another motelThe room has no mold or mouse droppings anywhereThe same room was rented to another customer for Oct 17th & 18th and there were no complaints, they were very happy with their stay in the same room.Also the customer's complaint to the Revdex.com states that they were charged $upon arrival, this is incorrectWe did not charge the customer $a night; the charge was $plus tax a night for two nights, as below:

Review: Called to make reservations for a 2 day stay. Was told the price was 65.00. We arrived on 10/17/2014 at 1:00 PM to check in. The price was 80.00. Not the 65.00 we were quoted over the phone. We went to the "cottage" and it was filthy. Had no heat and was not acceptable. Went to the office and requested another room. Was given a fairly large room that smelled so bad we had to open the windows to breath. We left and went to eat supper. When we came back we unpacked the car and went to further inspect the room. The bathroom had black mold on the curtains and all around the shower. It was also under the sink. There was mouse dropping in the eating area. Around the table and the sink. We went to the office to tell the owner what we had found. He argued that it was a good room. He argued about not refunding our money. The office also smelled disgusting. After realizing he was not going to refund all our money we told him to credit our card back the money for Sat. Night. We could not even spend 5 minutes in the room. He said there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. We did not cancel. Because of the mold and the deplorable conditions we could not stay.Desired Settlement: I want our money back for Friday night. We reserved the room and was unable to use it. He did not provide a sanitary and healthy room.

The customer had called to reserve a cottage for October 17th & 18th, for the price of $69 +tax a night. Upon check in on October 17th, 2014, at approximately 1pm, the customer returned back to the office saying that they could not stay in the cottage because it was too cold; there are two heaters in the cottage, in order to heat the room to the desired temperature the heaters must be increased for about 30 minutes. However, I did not want to argue with the customer, so I gave her the keys to another room which is a larger nice efficiency room. The customers checked into that room and had already unloaded their belongings into the room for a few hours while they went out. After a couple hours the customer came back to the office again, claiming that they did not want to stay in that room either, because they had decided to stay at another motel. The room has no mold or mouse droppings anywhere. The same room was rented to another customer for Oct 17th & 18th and there were no complaints, they were very happy with their stay in the same room.Also the customer's complaint to the Revdex.com states that they were charged $80.00 upon arrival, this is incorrect. We did not charge the customer $80.00 a night; the charge was $69 plus tax a night for two nights, as below:$69.00 * 2 = $138.009% tax += $12.42Total Charges = $150.42When the customer had initially called to reserve the room, I had told her that they would need a 48 hour cancellation notice for a full refund. However, we still gave the customer a refund of $75.21 on 10-17-2014, for one night. We have also processed another refund for $75.21, to the customer's credit card on 10-26-2014. Therefore there is a balance of $0.00 now.Lastly the customer's complaint of the room charge of $80.00 a night is completely wrong. I am sending a copy of the charges and the credit back on her credit card, for proof.I hope that this explanation is good enough.
