*** called the evening of 5/and spoke to one of our finance managers about his car not starting and was forwarded to me because a resolution could not be reachedI spoke to *** in length about the issue with his car explaining to him that roadside assistance would be able to come out and
jump start his car and that it was covered under his certified warrantyHe was insisting on a rental car, we didn't have any availableI suggested he call a rental company, he told me he was unable to rent a car because he is under I explained that roadside assistance was his best option so he could get home, our service department would be able to help him in the morning and he should contact them first thing. Time line:Here is the timeline for the issues the *** had with their heater fan repair:5/19/17-- first complaint of heater switch not working properly. *** *** tested and found the blower switch needed to be replaced. Switch was special ordered. Mrs *** was told (and
is documented on the invoice) that part would be here 5/22.6/13/18 -- Customer returned to have the blower switch replaced.12/22/-- Customer returned stating the blower doesn't work on setting #4. *** *** again tested and found the Auto-Temp Control Assembly shorting. Ordered part.1/5/-- Customer returned for the Auto-Temp Control assembly installation.2/5/-- Customer returned stating the Heat doesn't work on setting #4. *** *** tested, and found the electrical connector for the blower switch faulty. Ordered part. I offered to keep the customer's car and provide her with a loaner car, but the customer declined.2/8/-- Customer returned for the electrical connector install. During installation, *** *** found an intermittent short in the blower switch which caused the connector to overheat. We ordered another switch, and offered to keep the customers car and provide her with a loaner car, the customer declined.2/12/-- Sent *** *** to customers house to pick up their car. *** *** installed the switch, and retested all components to verify proper operation. *** then delivered the car back to the customers' house.Have not heard from the customer since 2/12/
