I contacted this company and a few other Architects and Contractors for a proposal to build an addition on our deck. This particular company decided to go ahead and bill me for something which I did NOT ask for. He sent a contract to me which I DID NOT Sign.We talked on the phone a few times and after hearing his prices,, I said, NO..NO THANK YOU. The other company's did not charge me to go to the sight to look at my project and give me a quote. The owner of this company, Len K has screamed at me on the phone, has threatened to put a lien on our property and I have saved a phone message. He started sending me bills and now is adding on interest charges. He has caused serious stress and anxiety for me. I am now considering to call and consult an attorney. I have put reviews on *** and ***. But I wanted to file this with Revdex.com first. To see if he can stop what he is doing. I have tried to talk/reason with him, he is not reasonable and a really bad person and bad business person. I tried to explain about my other bids with other companies, who did not charge me. He should not have charged me or billed me without my consent or a signed contract. Please help me. Thanks
Thank you for letting me respond to the complaint from ***.
First, the proposal I sent *** says that if the client ask for work to be preformed by Terrasun Design prior to execution of the contact it will be billed on an hourly wage. *** gave me access to her duplex to measure and document the existing deck. I didn't need to go inside and was able to get all the information I needed to do a deck addition from the out side. I also looked up the zoning and spoke with the planning department about the deck addition.
I told *** the information I received from the county, her deck was to close to the set backs and she would not be able to do the addition the way she wanted to, and that is when *** said she would not pay me for my services. I never screamed or yelled at her, I have only sent invoices to her and they get send out automatically once a month (3 total).
I can't believe that someone can decide not to pay for requested services, and than go out of their way to destroy someones reputation.
*** has never try to reach out for any type of solution, she has only trolled me with her e-mails. I never spoke to her after she told me that she was not going to pay me.
$570 is a small amount and I would be more than happy to resolve this matter, but first *** has to take down the negative reviews, all of them. Her comments are a projection of her own behavior.
The mere fact that she is willing to pay $50 tells that services were provided. I look forward to resolving this problem as soon as possible.
