Terroco Oil Company

Review: Payment was withdrawn from my bank accout, December 11, 2014. The bank mails a paper check to the payee. The bank estimates delivery by December 16th. Terroco claims they did not receive the check until December 29th. I can not prove that they sat on the check in order to apply late charges, but 18 days seems a very long time. So, they win, but they loose a customer of eight years. It is a clever method of increasing revenue. My payment deliberately was overpaid by $40. I occasionally do this as a test. They deducted the finance charge of $14.96. I have a credit balance of $25.04. So, for $15, they lost a customer. I would like to see their finance charge revenues compared with peer businesses.
