Review: I PURCHASED BRACLETS FROM THIS STORE AND WAS TOLD BY [redacted] ON AUGUST 8TH 2015 I COULD HAVE THEM REPLACED SINCE THE ARE A MANAFUCTURE DEFECT NO RECIEPT NEEDED IF IT IS A DEFECT. WHEN I CAME IN TO DO SO I TREATED SO POORLY AND REPEATEDLY LIED TO BY [redacted] AND [redacted] MC D. THEY TOLD ME THE RULES CHAGE FROM DAY TO DAY ON REPLACEMENT . WHEN [redacted] WAS DONE FLIRTING WITH A MALE CUSTOMER SHE FELT IT IMPORTANT TO TELL THE GENTLEMEN ABOUT HER YOGA MAT FLIPFLOPS, NOT MANAGMENT MATERIAL IN MY BOOK. SHE THEN HAD A RIPPED PIECE OF PAPER AND TOOK MY NUMBER AND INSISTED SOME ONE WOULD GET IN CONTACT WITH ME. NOT SO I CONTACTED THE MAKER OF THE BRACLETS TO SEE IF THEY COULD OFFER ANY HELP. SINCE [redacted] DOES NOT WANT TO HELP. THE WHOLE PROCESS IS ODD WHEN PAYING. THEY CROSS OUT THE STORE RETURN POLIY AND HAND WRITE ALL SALES FINAL AND NO REFUND! WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE I TALKED TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER WHO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THE BRACLETS I HAD. I ASKED IF I COULD CONTACT THE OWNER AND THEY GOT HOSTILE WITH ME AND SAID" [redacted] DOES NOT TALK TO CUSTOMERS"."WE DONT EVEN GET TO TALK TO HER OR HER DAUGHTER. WOW WHAT A BUSSINESSWOMAN! TOO GOOD TO TALK TO HER STAFF OR CUSTOMERS.Desired Settlement: SINCE THE BRACLETS MEAN SOMETHING TO ME I WOULD LIKE THEM REPLACED. THEY ARE NOT EXPENSIVE THEY ONLY HAVE A SPECIAL MEANNING TO ME. I JUST HAVE A HARD TIME WITH BEING TREATED POORLY AND BEING LIED TO !!!!

Review: Framed copies of the store policy are hanging around the store, with one large copy behind the register, and each one states: "Store Policy: All sales are final. No refunds. Store credit will be issued within 7 days of purchase, if returned in original condition and with proof of purchase. Earrings and sale items are not returnable." The same policy is written on the bottom of the sales receipt. I purchased two necklaces on 8/11/14 and attempted to exchange them for store credit on 8/12/14 after inspecting them closely at home and determining they are poor quality and are probably not Sterling Silver as was stated by a salesperson. I read the store policy posted behind the salesperson's head and the sales person reminded me "all sales are final" verbally. While I was checking out, another saleslady approached me and complimented me and took the necklace from my hand and said, "You should wear this right now, it looks so good" and put it on me and encouraged me to look in the mirror. I believe she was intentionally distracting me. When I got home that night, I reviewed my receipt and was astonished to find the salesperson had drawn a line through the sales policy and wrote "ALL SALES FINAL" on my receipt. When I returned on 8/12/14 I spoke with the same salesperson and explained I felt tricked - and that she cannot void a contract between business and consumer by drawing a line through the policy, after I had signed the credit card slip. If she had drawn this line before I signed the slip, she had to have concealed it in a deceiptful way by covering it or by using her sales employees to distract customers. She did not verablize any change in contract. When I asked for store credit the Store Manager stated she does not acknowledge or follow her own store policy, she said "anything after the first sentence is useless" and "I might just take down these store policy posters." She said, "I'm going to ask you to leave the store right now and you are banned forever."Desired Settlement: While I would love for this store to honor their store policy with me, I realize that only helps me. I want to prevent this establishment from being able to commit scams and fraud in the future. Though it is difficult to prove - I am very confident this establishment uses dishonest sales tactics to distract and confuse their customers. Then, when a customer questions the policy/contract, they are told they must immediately leave the store and are "banned forever." At the very least, this store must take down their store policy posters or change the wording to reflect their actual store policy.
