Terry N. Grimes, ESQ.,P.C/ Reviews (1)

Revdex.com,
Thank you
for bringing to my attention a complaint you received through a non-customer about our companyWe feel unfortunate that we have received a complaint from not a customer but from a neighboring residentUpon reviewing the complaint submitted by this individual we have come to the conclusion that said accusations are false, and will not fulfill the individuals’ desired settlement
Our reasoning for this conclusion is simply supported on the fact that our dump trucks are incapable of damaging a residential concrete driveway. On the day that we worked at our customers’ house we used to dump trucks to transport topsoil that was being used on the job siteTransport vehicles are both Chevrolet Silverado HD trucks with mason dump bodiesThese trucks are only capable of transporting 7000lbs (tons)That day these vehicles only transported tons of top soil to the job site (6000lbs)This amount of weight is not only common to be carried among similar equipped trucks but is also legal and can safely be operated on public roadway and driveways
Residential concrete driveways are always professionally constructed with a minimum of inches in depth, and reinforced with rebar or concrete wireThickness is a major factor in determining the driveways structural capacityThe type of concrete used when constructing a residential driveway is psi mix, when properly constructed this driveway can carry 2500-3000lbs per vehicle tire, safelyThese driveways can certainly support more weight but cannot be guaranteed to support more due to the type of concrete used 3000psi mixExample; if our dump truck has six factory equipped tires on it and the driveway has a 3000lbs per tire limit, our trucks could’ve been loaded with tons of topsoil and still been within range of safely operating on a residential driveway before overcoming the structural capacity
To give insight on the actual incident our driver on site that day states; he pulled up to the curb of the neighboring residents’ curb to angle the truck into our customers home, and was approached by a disgruntled homeownerThe driver also states that the disgruntled individual began to curse at him and stated that we were not performing any work to her residence and that we needed to get off her drivewayThe driver immediately tried to defuse the situation by apologizing to the individual for coming within a close distance of her driveway and for disturbing her in any wayThe disgruntled homeowner was not compliant with a verbal apology and began to curse again at the driver , La Imagen drivers are instructed to first try to defuse any situation by apologizing and ultimately walk away due to their own personal safety, driver acted as instructed
In conclusion La Imagen takes no responsibility for the homeowner having a previously cracked driveway prior to our company being there, the delivery of topsoil across the street did not cause any damage the driveway sustained what appears to be years agoLa Imagen is filled with great remorse for the individual and the situation with their driveway but also as professional’s we are more the happy to refer to them a professional that can come give them an estimate for their driveway repairsWe understand how important a driveway is to the value of the house but cannot assist in the financial support of remolding a residential driveway. Sincerely, *** ***
