We are very sorry to hear that Ms***'s car had gotten dusty with the sawdust from our removing a tree in her neighbors yardUnfortunately we are not able to notify all neighbors about upcoming work being performed in the

Our company performed work at Ms***'s neighbors property on October 13,The Foreman
on the job asked if it would be ok to access her backyard to complete workMs*** gave permission saying it was fine and not to worry the patio was old anywaysAfter the job was completed Ms*** called the office and spoke with myself stating the patio had been damagedI told her that we would would repair any damage the was done by our companyMs*** emailed pictures of the damagePlease see attached photos of patio damageI told Ms*** that I would have someone from our company to come and look at the damage and assess it*** came out and said that we would try to repair the damaged area but the patio as a whole was is very bad shape and we would have to get out a contractor to see what could be doneMs*** kept stating that she wanted a whole new patioI called several contractors to arrange for an estimateI scheduled *** and AP Concrete to come and give MS*** an estimateI called other contractors and left messages for them to contact Ms*** directly and schedule estimates as Ms*** had a very busy schedule and wasn't always available so I hoped that by having them contact Ms*** directly would expatiate the process and cause less confusionAbout a week later Ms*** called and said that *** from AP Concrete got the flu and cancelled appointmentI asked if she had any estimates and Ms*** said she had a couple contractors come out but that she had no written estimatesI advised Ms*** that we would need written estimates before we could decide on what the scope of the repair would beApproximately a week late Ms*** called again and ask what we were going to do about the patio and once again I stated I could not do anything until I had estimates to reviewOn Wednesday Nov 12th after speaking to Ms*** again about the repair I called California Concrete to arrange for an estimate*** said he would contact Ms*** to schedule a time to come out and look at the patioOn Nov 18th I was emailed an estimate from California Concrete for the repair of the patioI have emailed Ms*** asking if she had received any other estimates for us to reviewWe are in hopes that we can get at least two more estimates to review so that we can fix the damage that was done by our companyWe are very sorry that this has been a burden on Ms*** and would like to repair any damage we have done as soon as possibleUpon reviewing the pictures and information provided by Contractor the patio was in such bad shape before usWe are not even sure if the damage was from usWe will repair any damage the we caused but are not responsible for the the shape and condition of the patio prior to our work next doorPlease refer to picture attached to see quality and condition of patioHopefully this case can be closed satisfactorilyWe are very willing to repair any damage that we created

I never said do not worry about the patio it is old anyway! The tree was being removed to prevent damage, obviously I assumed these people would be as careful as possible when I granted access to my yardThe patio slab was level and the structure of it was sound prior to ***'s worker dropping tree trunks from high up in the tree and smashing itWhen *** from ***'s came out and looked at the patio, he told me it did look as if it needed replaced, he did not say anything about the patio being in very bad shapeHe did say *** would be calling me to get contractors to come give estimatesI only heard from AP Concrete who cancelledAfter another week, I asked for the other contractors who she contacted, and discovered upon calling they had no recollection of being contacted by her or ***I also discovered one did not do this type of work, another's license was suspended, and did get one estimate from the otherSo there are only two estimates (including the one from California Concrete mentioned above)I am awaiting another estimate which is scheduled for Friday at this timeI must work and this is the soonest I could get this next one scheduledI have been informed by the contractors who have come out that removal of the broken patio will destabilize the adjacent retaining wall and possibly the fence, and may cause them to fall as wellPrior to ***'s destruction of my property, there was no reason for any of this work and hassle and I certainly would prefer that the patio could be patched or repaired, but have been informed by the contractors who have been here so far, that is not possible***'s Tree Service's statement that they are not even sure that the damage is from them is outrageousCertainly the patio was old, but the structure was sound prior to this, and it cannot be repaired, but must be completely removed and replaced, this would not be the case if ***'s Tree Service been careful and used proper proceduresTherefore, they are responsible for the full cost of restoration and any additional costs which may be incurred in the process, which, unfortunately involves the adjacent structures

I had not heard anything from the Revdex.com or ***'s Tree Service in quite some timeThe nature of the damage, and danger of flooding during the winter storms has made it necessary to file a claim with my insurance carrier and deal with repairing the patio on my ownTherefore, I have been forced to pursue this matter through my insurance carrier, as further delay will lead to even more damageI am also not confident ***'s Tree Service is honestly trying to resolve this matter
