Will send response to complaint via email. Second and Final Rebuttal To Whom It May Concern:The question here is whether the issues to date are presented in a factual manner, and what one may gleam as truthful, malicious, or incompetence.  It is clear the owners’ motivation is to slander and shame the company as much as possible, and if for nothing else but imbue shock value.  As for risks, those are mostly inherited by the company that must create a safe job site while requiring of its’ employees to set and climb a multi-set scaffold project, all while correctly performing elements of stucco restoration to a complex job.  Working a project with a multitude of obstacles is not an easy job, and is often what Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC deals with and does well on a daily basis.  Though we often succeed at managing such issues, we are not totally without fault nor infallible from mishaps time to time.  As for Mrs. [redacted] she said it herself, the issues were not with the appearance of the stucco per say, but with the deck and awning, and of which she admonished via text message.  Although there exists stucco splattering on sections of the awning cover that are unsightly and impossible to remove, the canvas awning was not stepped through, torn or perforated as a result of the stucco process, and remains useable.  It was with much regret this mishap occurred, and was one negative outcome pertaining to this project.   As stated in the initial Revdex.com complaint by the owners and subsequent rebuttal by Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC the [redacted]’s did receive a written apology signed by all members of the crew and owner, a gift certificate, and financial compensation taken off the final bill.   The amount deducted from the final statement was determined by the owners solely, and deemed as final payment by both parties.  Had the awning been removed or partially dismantled by a professional, this would have represented an additional expense to the homeowner of at least $2,500.00, and would have mitigated the stucco splattering on the canvas awning entirely.  Leading up to the date of the offer made in July, dialogue had been ongoing with Mrs. [redacted] via text messaging concerning the deck and awning.  With this in mind the owner states there was an offer on the table to augment the expense of dealing with the awning cover.  First of all this came weeks after the stucco job was completed, and more importantly, Mrs. [redacted] fails to admonish the fact there were two options made by an awning company for dealing with the canvas cover.  A $3,400.00 estimate for partial replacement of the canvas awning versus $7,000.00 for total replacement.  Considering the cost to remove or partially dismantle the cover, plus the amount deducted from the final statement, came the $1,400.00 amount to co-op on the $3,400.00 estimate.  This difference is what was presented to Mrs. [redacted] and summarily declined.  It should be noted the canvas cover was several years old, oriented on the west elevation of the home, and in full exposure to the sun.  Had the clients accepted the offer, then as a condition to receiving the $1,400.00 amount, the owners were asked to respond to subsequent complaints via the Revdex.com and other social media websites with “Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC  have satisfactorily resolved our outstanding complaints”.  Whereas with the deck and heavy potted plants which were placed on square wood frames with metal caster rollers, perhaps the home owners should have moved them away from the home to allow for the re-stucco process to unfold, or at least mentioned their preference for the plants to not be rolled around on the Treks deck. Pertaining to the second paragraph of the complaint, the sales manager did place a call to Mrs. [redacted] the evening of the last day the crew was stuccoing the home.  The call was to verify if the job was completed to her satisfaction and to obtain her opinion of the job; as well as to conduct a final walk-through.  By the time the call had been placed the crew had already left the job and was en route to the yard, not their respective homes as Mrs. [redacted] cites in the complaint.  As is customary by the foreman and while the job was being finished, they are instructed to make contact with the owner who is to inspect the work and determine whether it is acceptable.  It is entirely possible at that time some light fixtures, nor all the gutters or downspouts were reattached to the walls, but were assuredly being taken care of by remaining crew members as the job was wrapping up.  The reasoning for this is simply to make corrections to the finished work if needed, and before cleaning and putting away trowels, brushes, hawks, and things of the like while contending with a hand trowel plaster applied finish.  Plastering a home by hand is a messy affair, and requires of the crew to mask and cover windows, doors, walkways, decks, gates, virtually everything imaginable so as to minimize the potential for messes.  Adding to this layer of complexity and not being the least bit helpful, temperatures averaged 100 degrees or higher the week the color coat was applied to the clients’ home, all while the crew worked a minimum of eight hours per day or more.  When Mrs. [redacted] commented about the pieces of red masking tape (slivers left at times when pulling off plastic film and masking tape) left bonded to a few windows, above the front door, a small piece above the garage door, and some pieces on rafters/runners below the deck (maybe some 50 in all), as well as some white marks within the finish, the sales manager made an appointment with the client and compiled a punch list for corrections.  The crew made a single return trip a day later to work on the punch list items.  Not every item was completed to her satisfaction, and subsequently the owner worked on a few of the items upon receipt of the final check at 5:00 PM Friday. Mrs. [redacted] also states in the complaint the foreman swallowed poison and left her home with an unsupervised job site.  There was a situation that arose when one of the plasters inadvertently consumed a chemical solvent (Goof-Off) during lunch, and on one of the days the crew was color coating the clients home.  This was not the last day, nor was it the foreman who swallowed the solvent.  The employee who swallowed a small amount, say 6oz or less, had done so because he did not realize some had been poured into a used Gator Aide container that was being utilized for cleaning adhesive residue left from the application of tape.  When it was determined the man needed medical assistance, the foreman drove the man to an ER center for help.  When a situation like that occurs, the foreman leaves the job in the hands of skilled plaster who assumes the responsibilities for leading remaining crew members, and until the foreman can return to the job site.  As it was the foreman was away from the job for a approximately two and a half hours, then was relieved by the company project manager at the ER center.  Fortunately for the man, the ER doctor on staff cited little to be concerned with, as it would have taken 12oz or more to result in anything of consequence to his health.Lastly, the offer of  $1,400.00 Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC made in July still stands.  Albeit the client has made many negative posts about the company, the quality of the stucco job is without question, and would challenge anyone’s opinion otherwise.  To the homeowners, Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC yet again humbly apologizes for mistakes that should not have occurred, but otherwise may remain water under the bridge.  We recognize our appeal to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]’s sensibilities may go unsolicited, yet would like to take this time and remind the consumer public at large that Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC has undertaken, worked on, and completing literally thousands of high quality projects, and done so for more than sixteen years in the industry.  This is a company that strives to provide quality workmanship each and everyday a company truck with crew rolls off the yard to their respective jobs.  That being a paid member of the Revdex.com is an ethical commitment made for the sake of comparison with those who are also paying members, and which may place themselves in such scrutiny.  For those reading this dialogue, let it be known complaints relating to or pertaining of a service related company can be sent or made to the Revdex.com, but only those complaints with paying members, are ones posted by the Revdex.com. Sincerely,Martin *. To Whom it May Concern:The issue in question is not related per say to a stucco problem or the stucco cladding installed to Mr [redacted] home on June of 2013 by Tesuque Stucco Co, LLC.  Tesuque Stucco Co, LLC installed a 2 coat traditional El Rey stucco system with 1 1/2" EPS foam over an older...

home comprised of block construction with a skim coat and color coat application; of which had been painted numerous times and was in very poor quality or state of condition.  The issue in question pertains to wrought iron coverings removed then reinstalled pursuant to the final aspect of the job, and only one wrought iron covering is in question as it provides egress for the home owner.  This wrought iron covering located on the back side of the home does not square perfectly to the frame, but is quite functional as the locking pins engage without sticking or being impeded by the newer stucco cladding.  The correction/solution to the problem would be to have an iron and or metal worker cut and extend the pin of the locking mechanism to the wrought iron covering and frame, so as to create a square appearance for the covering.  Given the challenges for installation of the new stucco cladding, it was explained to the home owner that some concessions would have to be made in order to accommodate the build and profile of the newer stucco.  These concessions may have included extending plumbing and adding re-modeler boxes for exterior lights and power sources.  It is possible the wrought iron issue may have been overlooked, but is still quite serviceable and merely an issue of aesthetics.As for the crew and stucco cladding installed to Mr [redacted] home, it is nothing short of first rate.  Although most personalities whom work within the stucco and construction realm are Spanish speaking people, our staff always includes at least one English speaking person to communicate with the client/clients.  Mr [redacted] job is a type of project that would have required a foreman to make spur of the moment decisions and consequentially make periodic trips to pick-up and provide materials or tools not readily accounted for at commencement or during the duration of the job.  If Mr [redacted] was inconvenienced for any duration of time while our foreman was periodically aloof and unable to communicate with any personalities onsite, please accept our sincerest apologies.  Perhaps Mr [redacted] could have contacted someone at the office, and of which I could have been notified to respond in kind.  I never heard any grievances from Mr [redacted] regarding that issue during the duration of the job until the complaint was raised with the Revdex.com.  Included in the rebuttal are images captured showing the work Tesuque Stucco Co. LLC provided to Mr [redacted] as well as the pins which detach or slide out of the wrought iron coverings, and of which needed to be extended a couple inches to accommodate the desired appearance Mr [redacted] seeks.
Sincerely;

To Whom it May Concern: Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC has garnered a reputation in the industry and general public at large for completing quality work, and utilizing the most premium products available on the market to date.  Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC has undertaken literally thousands of...

jobs related to the stucco and plastering arena, and has maintained at a minimum an A to A plus rating with the Revdex.com since its inception with the organization.  All perspective jobs are priced on the basis of surface area and type of stucco materials specified for the project.  Consequentially, the more surface area present in a given job, the potential for greater costs to complete a given job.  The aforementioned project was one completed with a repair and re-stucco over traditional cement stucco with a high performance synthetic stucco product and system.  All re-stucco projects undertaken by Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC are always completed by hand or hand troweled to yield best possible performance and aesthetics.      With all due respect to the clients at 4917 Calle del Ceilo NE, some damage was done to the deck and awning.  There were concessions made in financial reciprocity to the owners, and those adjustments were made and taken off the final bill.  The last thing a service provider to the community at large desires is to have a disgruntled client at the end of a given job.  The issues with the client were not resultant per say of a lack of supervision.  Each crew is staffed with a crew chief, then a project manager/coordinator (if not the owner) who periodically inspects all job sights at various times throughout the job to insure a safe job site, and that quality control is being applied and undertaken by the crew.  With respect to this given project, all personalities as well as the sales manager made at least one to several stops at the job site.  Regretfully some mishaps can occur regardless of the situation, and apologies were made as well as financial compensation to the owners.  In retrospect, the awning cover should have been removed or partially dismantled so as to avoid splattering of stucco on the cover, and done so by a professional.  The owners have expressed their displeasure with Tesuque Stucco Company, LLC and the end result of the job, and that is their right.  Albeit the issues at hand may not be recoverable in the eyes of the homeowners, the durability and finished quality of the stucco job is assuredly one built to last and withstand the test of time.   Respectfully, Martin *. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:[redacted]Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Tesuque Company.  Please post the following message. Before I reply to Tesuque Company's response, I would like it known that on Monday, July 11, the owner offered me $1,400 towards the repair of our $7,000 awning that was ruined. The owner stated that I could have the money IF I retracted my review of his company at the Revdex.com and removed reviews from social media. I declined the offer. It is important to my husband and me that future buyers are made aware of the risks associated with Tesuque Stucco.  I've lived my entire life in New Mexico and have relied on New Mexico businesses. This is the first time I was disappointed in the lack of quality and accountability of a local contractor.With regard to Tesuque's claim about supervision, I want to provide the following facts. On the last scheduled day of our project, the sales manager called me after 5 and his workers were still at the house.  He asked if I was happy. I said they were not finished. The workers began ringing my doorbell asking if they could go home. I said "you're not finished". There was red tape all over, buckets of stucco, white spots showing through stucco, gutters and light fixtures on the ground etc.  When I asked the owner about this situation the next day, he said the foreman had been poisoned on my job and was sent to the hospital. I'm not sure when this happened, but clearly there was no supervision on the last day and Tesuque expected me to direct the workers. Tesuque came by at least four more times to improve the quality of work and demanded final payment. We paid even though the quality of work was not up to our standards and the damage done to our deck, awning and landscaping was unacceptable and costly. Lastly, the sales manager promised services to my husband.  In the end, some of those services were not performed. These services were not included in the written contract. Shame on us for trusting words and not reading the contract. My only objective is to warn future consumers and ask that they consider other options and always read the contract.
