October 20, Better Business Bureau REF#: [redacted] Dear [redacted] :This is in response to your letter dated September 8, 2016, in reference to patient [redacted] *** Ms [redacted] made an appointment with us responding to a radio advertisement for freevascular screening at our clinic which we have offered as a courtesy for several years.Upon her arrival at Teton Radiology, she was screened by the nurse and doctor as is ourusual practiceShe was given a financial agreement and treatment plan which includedthe costs for consultation ($841.00) if she opted for thatOur receptionist explained thefees to Ms [redacted] who signed the agreement Ordinarily, we are unable to do the consultation on the same day as the free screening butwe were able to work our schedule and that of the interventional radiologist's on thatparticular day to include her consultationThis was done for the convenience of Ms[redacted] and her husband However, there must have been a misunderstandingThe patient assumed theconsultation was free as well, even though she had signed the financial agreementItwasn't communicated clearly to her and her husband evidently.In the interest of good will we have adjusted the bill and it has been settled with [redacted] and her husband to their satisfaction Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention Sincerely, [redacted] ***o: (208) 535-f: (208) 522-www.thevascularinstitute.net ***ATTACHMENT REDACTED BY Revdex.com [redacted]
