I first had this company out to repair my water heater on 10/17. They repaired a pop off valve and I thought everything fine. But again yesterday morning, I had water on the floor. The pan under the heater was full of water. I called again yesterday morning, I was told that the person who originally fixed the water heater said that I should call a plumber. They haven't called me after this; I told them I would be sending them the bill for the plumber. The water heater is still under warranty, I believe.
I installed a water heater in their home 5 years ago. The customer called my secretary and told her that it was a furnace problem. In October, I had two of my guys change her pop up valve on the water heater. The customer talked down to my workers because it was the water heater and not the furnace. We charged $89 for the labor and $15 dollars for the part. She told my workers and my secretary she would not pay for our services. The water heater had a 5 year warranty, not for labor. I personally give a 1 year warranty on labor for water heaters. We have sent an invoice and at least 2 reminders and she claims she will not pay for the work we provided. If she pays me for the original invoice, I am willing to go by the house to change the pop up valve. I stand behind my work.
