Review: On November 24, 2014 at 7:05am I was in need of gasoline and stopped at the ExtraMile station located at 8338Power Inn Rd, Elk Grove CA. The posted sign said:"PRICE with CASH or TEXACO CREDIT CARD"Unleaded 2.97 9/10Power Plus 3.07 9/10Power Premium 3.17 9/10ATMI inserted my debit card, entered my pin, and selected unleaded. To my surprise I was charged for unleaded at a rate of $3.079/gal. I had intended to fill my vehicle but upon noticing the price discrepancy I stopped at 6.498 gallons for a total charge $20.01. I reviewed the receipt thinking I had accidentally pushed Power Plus and noticed I was being charged at a CR (credit rate) for unleaded regular. I went in to question the higher rate and was told by the Manager, [redacted], it was because it wasn't "cash" and banks are charging more. There are no signs saying what the credit rate is nor that a debit card will be charged at the credit card rate. People have a right to know what they are being charged before they decided to enter into a transaction.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of the additional cost unknown at the time of the transaction and a fine compeling them to post accurate costs.
