Texas Air Repair is what you want in a business you have to deal withI've called them twice and in both instances I received nothing but top notch serviceThey are honest and knowledgable, and truly are looking out for their customersThey are my goto guys for any AC work and I would recommend them to anyone

I called this company to get them to come out to fix my a/cI called on a Saturday evening to see if they had a technician that could come outI told the woman that my a/c was not working and that I wanted to know how much the service fee wasShe told me $Then she asked me if I had a home warrantyI told her yes so then she told me that the service fee would be $I told her that I wasn't using my home warranty because the company that they gave me to call for my a/c didn't work on the weekends so I would just be paying out of pocketShe told me that it would still be $so I asked her if I am NOT using my home warranty why was there a difference in priceShe then told me that she declined my business and that she couldn't help me I then asked her why are you declining businessSo then she put the owner Henry R*** *** on the phoneHe told me that on his website that it states that for home warranties that they can charge moreHe told me that he has the right to decline businessI told him that I wasn't using the warranty and that I was paying out of pocketThen he told me that he was going back to watching his movieIf this company can turn away business then people should know about thatApparently they don't care about customers and when you ask questions they don't like they decline helping youI did ask him where on his website it states that he charges more for home warranties and he stated that it's on every webpage and he charges more because home warranty company customers are not his customers so BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! I did see on his site where it states that "**Please Note: Rentals, real estate sales transactions, and home warranties premium service charges will apply** but if you aren't using the home warranty they shouldn't try to rip you offI was only asking a simple question because I was not using the home warranty because I wanted the repair done on the weekendI should have been treated like any other customer that isn't using a home warranty and not with rude remarksSo if you have to call these people on a weekend because your home warranty company doesn't have a company that can repair over a weekend don't tell them you have one or else they will hike the price up on youOh and MrR*** I'm going to share my experience about your company with everyone I encounterI'm even going to post it on social media which spreads like wildfireYou have a business to service customers and it pays your billsYou should remember that!!!!!!!

"margin: 0px">We have audio voice recordings we would love to share from when *** called into our officeIn the first phone call from *** she mentioned to *** in my office that she might need Freon*** response to *** was our scripted response, "Hopefully you do not need Freon as that means there is certainly a major repair needed, but our technician will be able to find the leak if there is one and get you a quote to fix the problem." we have scripted this because we know that many customers misunderstand the way that Freon is used in an HVAC systemIt does not burn it like gas, rather it circulates it like antifreeze in a carThere for if you are low on Freon that means there is a leak or someone is letting the Freon out of the systemWe want all of our customers to understand that we are being upfront with them about how Freon should not just be just added into a system as it will leak back out and they will be throwing away their moneyFurther ***, my technician of years/General Manager, as always informed this customer as she admits that the Freon MAY only last UP TO a couple of days at most as he could visually see the Freon leak and showed *** the leak first hand*** then as trained took the time to educate *** about how the system is older and uses outdated Freon and she would be best to look at replacing the system*** insisted that *** add the Freon for now and against his better judgment did what he thought would make the customer happyHe added the Freon but again as trained informed the customer to shop around for systems and if she decided to go with us on the replacement we would credit her back the $toward the new systemWe take the time to go the extra mile and not just tell the customer what the problem is but to show them and teach them so that they make a good informed decision and extend money back offers on repairs we know won’t fix the problem if they decide to have us fix it right, even though at the bottom of our invoice (and proposals should our busy technicians run out on a Sunday evening service call) we have our ONE LINE of fine print which you can see for yourself that clearly states, NO WARRANTY ON REFRIGERANT GASESBut *** called in and was very rude to ***, ***, and myselfI did tell *** I would not allow her to slander our good name and give her back her money, so she would not be receiving a refund based on principle not on profitAs *** stated her system stores 7-lbs from the factory, it also requires an additional 3-pounds for the coil and copper line sets depending on how long the copper lines are in a home so 10-LBS of R-(which means *** was being honest again saying he used about half a tank, at my cost of $per LB Tank or $per pound means it cost us around $in Freon not including labor, fuel or overhead and we only charged *** $(not $as she stated) and she calls making accusations that *** probably didn’t even put Freon in the unit because it never cooled the house downShe even on the phone recoding admits that she just wanted the repair money back from us because she decided to have another company install the system for her(AS RECOMMENDED BY MY HONEST TECHNICIAN, ***!) For a business like mine $is a drop in the bucket we don’t even feel that little lossHowever, the principle that I am standing on is that people cannot be rewarded with refunds by throwing a hardworking and extremely honest and helpful man like *** under the bus to get the refundThis man could have lost his job over a customer lying purposely about him, had I not known my technician personally for years his family could have all suffered the consequences of such lies(Links for voice recordings will be posted on *** or you may contact me directly for files.) We are clearly a very honest and fair business family, but we will not be extorted for our stellar Star ReputationCheck out what everyone else says about us @ ***
